Former PRIDE producer Hiromichi Momose was found dead in his Tokyo apartment Sunday morning. He was 67. Momose was one of the most powerful figures in the Japanese fight game and put forth the first 50 million yen to begin DSE, PRIDE's parent company.

Wow. That's big news. You could argue that without Momose Pride wouldn't have existed. And the world of MMA would be a much different place.
