seeing how the ufc is getting rid of guys it will be a shame if both fighters go. but at this point who is expendable?? both are marketable still bring in big pay per view numbers, at this point with the light heavy so stacked tito lets face it will never compete good with those guys let alone ground and pound them like the old days. he would never get a title shot again unless he beats maybe 4 top 10 guys which i don't think he can do anymore. arlovski had one bad fight that he did win, i think he still has it given the chance in march ala werdum to redeem himself in the cage at rapid fire, not only did he beat gonzaga but also did it very impressively. that is the werdum of pride that fought, i think arlovski will take note and punish o'brien. the heavyweight division is not as packed to say werdum gets next shot with one win and a loss is to say alot but they guy has never been knocked out or submitted. with lesnar, kongo, cro cop, slyvia, once you get past maybe the top 10 guys in the ufc in that division there is a major drop off in talent. to say eddie sanchez is a top 10 guy is alot. honestly i think arlovski can beat any of those guys in the division i just don't think the ufc wants him as a champ again which says alot when lets face it kongo deserved the shot at the belt not slyvia. and to say werdum is next snubbing kongo yet again. This will always be, it's just a shame to throw away talent but also people who helped bring in new fans when the ufc needed it

i think they both end up staying, tito has the best chance to go imo because he is not the top 10 talent he once was, but i think arlovski will stay because there isnt much else out there for him.

Id rather arlovski stayed. If he wins his next fight and signs a decent legnth contract, hes gona be straight back into the title picture. I think tito on the other hand will never really get back into title contention. I just cant see him beating chuck, shogun or rampage, and hes not gona be champ without coming across one of these guys. I think AA can beat any heavyweight on his day, but titos never gona beable to beat the ice man.

Tito needs to get arm triangled by machida and leave for good. arlovski on the other hand is a great fighter and could beat anyone on any given night. I doubt he will be as tenative in his next fight as the werdum fight. He understands the fans need a show.

well its suspicious that arlovski hasnt signed a new deal maybe thats why dana didnt give him a shot and gave it to the guy he just beat to throw it in his face saying "ha sign with M-1 well im giving your deserved title shot to a guy u just beat ha ha" however i dont care to see ortiz back after machida hands him another TKO on his record

I want both to stay (obviously Tito) but I honestly think both are gone. Tito's beef with Dana is too much of an obstacle to overcome even though he's been talking to the Fertittas about a new deal, AA is just getting buried. Part of it is his last couple fights haven't been impressive even though he won, but Dana's gonna keep saying he'll get his title shot again soon and not give it to him. He needs to go somewhere that he can jump right back into the top tier and be the big guy right away.

If given the choice, I say kick Tito out on his ass. I don' enjoy watching him fight and as a person he is arrogant and obnoxious.
Keep Arlovski for sure. Yeah yeah yeah, his last 2 fights were not great but the UFC will be better off if they keep him. However, I would not blame him if he moves to another organization if he can make more $$$.
Can't wait til his next match, I think Andrei is going to tear it up.

1. Andrei Arlovski wants to test the open market aka he wants $$$. 2. Tito Ortiz wants title shots and feels he can't get them in the UFC. 3. Whoever posted this is stupid the UFC wants them both but they want to leave.
RESULTS IN NEXT FIGHTS VERY IMPORTANT!!! Best way to keep them: Arlovski loses Ortiz wins
Arlovski wants to test the open market his market value outside the UFC dies if O' Brien beats him. (personally i think this will happen, nothing against Arlovski)
Ortiz wants to move up in the division and feels this fight will not help. In all honesty, he is right. To have any hope of advancement and a reason to stay Ortiz needs a win. (too close a fight to call, I favor Machida
At the end of this I agree Arlovski will remain and Ortiz will fade. However, personal dislike and disrespect for Ortiz is semi ridiculous. He has still got a lot to offer and may still have not hit his prime (not a joke). As for his attitude I can name off at least 20 that are worse.

I would have to say Arlovski stays and Ortiz go. Although I believe both should stay because their both big draws. I personally don't like Ortiz but I respect his talent and I don't think he's washed up.

his last 4 fights werent great, he lost the first 2(i still cant believe he lost to tim after the near KO), and didnt look good against pe de pano or werdum. if his match is indeed a dark match as rumored, then i think that spells the end for him in the ufc, i think its too bad, but thats probably not a good sign. tito probably will be gone too, but beating machida would get him back some credibility as a LHW contender and could be enough to press the ufc into signing him. i really dont think he wants to leave the ufc, but as a realist he knows his window of opportunity is getting smaller and with his rocky relationship with management there may never be a title shot for him in a stacked weight class again.

i know what i am talking about when it comes to ufc especially those fighters if you even have a job you could relate to them, the ufc doesn't think arlovski is worth the money, he already said over a month ago the the ufc is his home and dana white is his boss, he would love to stay, but given how the ufc treats fighters such as couture, i am not surprised, you and i will never know what was said behind closed doors, i can side with arlovski but tito is a different story he is about the money but fighting machida who is a contender would help him out but he would have to roll of 4 or so wins to get his shot, i can't agree that their or 20 guys who have a worse attitude tito is a legend for being a dick
