Freeman would have also been a good fight.
I hope Cage Rage and Ken reconcider those two fights and throw him up aginst better competition. First fight Grovr/Silva/Tedoradze or hell even Broughton. Second fight Freeman.

Mark 3 more KO losses in Ken Shamrocks loss column.
Why can't he just learn to retire? If he can't even survive 3 minutes with Tito ortiz in there last 2 fights when Tito ALWAYS goes the distance, how is he going to beat these guys? Maybe he'll beat the "scrub" but I'm afraid for Ken's life since Kimbo should kill him and Frank will kill him.
I don't care what anybody says about Ken in training and how good he trains. Yeah I respect the old Ken Shamrock who was actually good but I can't see him winning against Kimbo or Frank. It does not matter how good you train. It's not like your training partners are really trying to make you look bad or beat you up. When he has three head hunters coming at him. I expect 2 or maybe even 3 brutal KO losses...
I admire the spirit and respect what he has done but come on..

Why do Ken and Frank hate each other??
They have been on good terms for a long time now. But it all started when Ken left Frank in charge of the Lion's Den while he was off pusruing his pro-wrestling career with the WWF. Apperantly Frank didn't do things the way Ken had ordered, and eventually he left the camp entirely with no one in charge to train with Mo Smith and TK. There are other reasons aswell concering their adoptive father Bob and Frank's jealosy towards Ken early on.

Man I like Ken but I don't see him pulling a Randy. I also think the fight with his brother is bad for the sport. Family should never fight and this fight tosses all the family values out the window just to make some money. They are giving the MMA haters more ammunition if you ask me.

I completely understand what's going on here...
The Berry fight's pretty cut and dry... Get Ken back on the winning track...
Like it or not, Kimbo has become a huge draw in MMA... And bringing Ken Shamrock, a UFC hall or famer, into the EliteXC is a huge marketing point for them and will more than likely really stick in Dana's crawl (another point for Shaw, lol)... There's no way Ken will try to stand with Kimbo, but I see a leg log coming really early in this fight... end up looking a lot like Lesnar/Mir
The fight with Frank will be the perfect ending to Ken's career... I don't know exactley how it'll go down or who'll win, but I see it being a competitve fight and am very interested in seeing it...
All in all, I'm surprised that Ken is able to generate this much interest from me at this point in his career, but hey...

Ken is a legend and I will always be a fan,but their something to be said for dignity and grace.Their's still a lot of interesting matches I could see Ken having, but I just cringe when I think of Ken fighting again. The guys a legend, but I guess he's still got the fight in him,and at the end of the day I guess that's what matters.Even if its at the cost of your grace.

Yeah if Ken Shamrock vs. Kimbo Slice ends up happening I would have to take Ken. Not sure Kimbo would have enough training by then to beat a veteran like Ken. The only way he could win is by huge knockout. If Ken gets him down it's bad news for Kimbo.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't he allude (in his SHO XC interview on 1/25 on the broadcast) to heading to CR for one fight and coming back to face Frank? That way they each have one fight coming up (Cung Le/Buzz Berry) and then face each other in San Jose during late summer?

This info comes from Ian Freeman. Also Ken mentionned his fight with Frank being early '09 possibly. Who knows, maybe the Kimbo rumor won't hold up.

I really think buzz is going to do a lot better than most are expecting, kens not what he use to be and buzz has serious knock out power and hes a big bastad as well.
If he hangs around long enough i think Kens going to have trouble with a lot of the big cage rage sluggers, guys like berry, grove, epstein, cahoon & of course big james thompson.
While none of these guys wrestling is up to much cop they are all big boys and ken iken was never a takedown specialist, especially against bigger men.
If ken goes straight after a leg against any of these guys theres a good chance hes going to get his head pounded into the ground.
