From Ian Freeman:
no mate. We spoke while in the USA. He has 3 fights lined up. first fight in Cage Rage with 'a scrub' as he called it. Dont know who, but he wants a win. 2nd with Kimbo slice and 3rd with his brother Frank.
He's going back up to Heavyweight for the first 2 and down to 205 for his brother.

Ken has'nt looked as bad as his recent record suggests. I personally don't see how Kimbo could survive even one round with Ken. Even on the feet Ken would probably knock him out.
Personally though I would MUCH rather it had been Ian. They're both getting older and still have alot of name recognition. Plus it would have looked better next to a "w" on his record lol.

but the fight with kimbo is also interesting since kimbo's trainer is bas rutten, and with Ken having beaten bas twice, its like bas is trying to get back at ken, and if ken wins it will make victory much sweeter just becuase bas is kimbo's trainer, so its kinda like ken vs bas 3 lol

For those who don't know who the scrub is yet, it's Robert "Buzz" Berry. They're fighting at Cage Rage 25.
I gotta admit I'm a little upset with these first 2 fights. There are so many better fights that he could be having at HW in CR like Freeman, Tedoradze or Big Foot.
ps. I'm almost 100% certain that his fight with Frank will be his last. In Pancrase, he wanted to retire from the org with the same bout, but it never happened.

for sure, i mean who wouldnt??? but i dont think bas would make a comeback, he has said that his knees gave out on him, but it would defenately make some noise if it were to happen, but kimbo vs ken is the closest ken and bas will get to fighting... i also think his fight with his brother will be his last../

I think Ken would go back to his leg-locking ways against Kimbo...

After seeing Kimbo fall apart against Sean Gannon, I'm not too worried about Ken's chances.
...don't buy into the hype just yet!

Ken definately still has it in him, but I'm not 100% sure how he will doagaisnt Kimbo...(partially cause I still dont know shit about Kimbo from his 2 fight/ 30 second career in mma) ..
one thing I do know about him is he can hit, I am sure Bas will have him prepared for this fight...I dunno...I think I am gonna go with Kimbo..only because Tito was beating Ken up with his hands...and I am pretty sure Kimbo hits much harder.... THat said ..Ken could still pull off a submission no doubt...

Luckily we get to see Ken vs. Barry and Kimbo vs. Tank before we have to decide. If Ken walks through Barry, that bodes well for him against Kimbo, as they're both power punchers. If Ken loses to Barry and Kimbo destroys Tank, then Ken is pretty well screwed.

Ken vs. Kimbo could be good, IMO Kimbo has it on the feet, but Ken will take it on the ground - The only reason I think Kimbo has a chance is that Ken has slowed alot with age, but I still think he will take it with a sub.
Ken vs. Frank I can't wait for this fight, I think Ken is showing more age ware than Frank, I think Frank will take a UD or SD, just because I think he will have less of a chance at gassing.
Freeman would have also been a good fight.
