You can’t get bombed and expect to be 100% the next day but if you had a joint you would be 110%. Most of those fucking guys are popping Vicodin and drinking and before you know it they’re crashing."

Yea, I agree, there are a lot of big time wrestlers from the mid west, as well as other areas of the country. I once read somewhere, prob like 5 years ago, that PA puts the most wrestlers in the NCAA's, meaning PA is where the wrestlers are from originally. I remember one year, in the 90's, when the state of PA had the following in the top 20: Penn State, Lock Haven, Clarion, Edinboro, Bloomsburg, Lehigh, Bucknell, and Penn. I believe those to be the teams. I do know there where 8 in the top 20.

On a side note, I just found out the Junior High team at New Oxford is ranked first in the state! I helped coach a lot of those boys. Good job guys.

There are a lot more, we have great grapplers in Oklahoma.

Since the 1924 Olympics, OSU wrestlers have accumulated a total of 25 Olympic Medals; 21 gold, 3 silver, and 1 bronze.

Raphael Lovato Jr (from Lovato's BJJ/Vale Tudo) was just invited to the 2007 ADCCs (88kg), we are proud.

You say grapplers I say one word...... IOWA. check the NCAA records and you will see that the University of Iowa dominated for more than 15 years. Homegrown: Tom and Terry Brands come to mind. But how 'bout the greatest grappler that ever lived... Dan Gable.

Pat Miletich knew a thing or two as far as BJJ goes.
