Bring out the blankets:

Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski will return to the Octagon after almost a one-year layoff to fight Jake O’Brien at UFC 82: “Pride of a Champion” on March 1 at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, according to Yahoo!Sports.com.

Here’s the snip:

“… popular heavyweight Andrei Arlovski would fight at UFC 82 on March 1 in Columbus, Ohio. He said the opponent isn’t certain but is likely to be Jake O’Brien. Arlovski hasn’t fought since a lackluster win over Fabricio Werdum in April in Manchester, England.”

they complain that Arlovski has recently been fighting boring, and put him up against who could be considerd the most boring HW in the UFC....doesnt make much sense to me...

anyways I see Arlovski lighting him up early and keeping it on his feet for the most part and scoring a HL KO in the first or second

i really don't get it. they give a fight against gonzaga to werdum after werdum loses to arlovski. that "lackluster" performance arlovski had against werdum was sure a hell of a lot better than gonzaga did.

wtf ???

Wow. Arlovski is going to kill O'Brien. On the feet or on the ground Arlovski takes this match.

Utter crap. Whats the point of this fight? AA wins he beat someone barely anyone knows, if Jake wins he's a pretty boring fighter, and I thought the UFC wanted to promote excitement. Curious decision IMO

Jake could win if he pulls a lay and pray...but I'm hoping AA works on a sprawl and brawl and KO's O'Brien.

Anyone else kind of feel sorry for Jake?
Their in two completely different classes. I think the UFC is playing it safe with this fight.

If AA wins an leaves he beat someone of no real importance in the HW devision but if he loses or has another lack luster performance then they can offer him a worse contract or let him go.

Personally i think Arlovski is hungry and will rip through O'brien with ease.
I hope its a highlight real knockout an Arlovski gets a real fight soon after.

Him an crocop would be awesome!
