i agree, that would be a very good and exciting fight between two contrasting styles. there really aren't a lot more possibilties except for maybe the loser of nog vs. big tim.
btw vera would also be a good next opponent for gg, both coming off a loss.

Yeah I could see Vera taking on GG.
I could also see GG taking on Crocop in a rematch.

Werdum vs. Kongo if Kongo wins would make sense. Werdum vs McCully shouldn't happen because Werdum has absolutely nothing to gain from that fight, especially after stopping Gonzaga. It's an odd position because I'm not saying he should get the winner of Sylvia vs. Big Nog just yet, but I can't really see any other match ups coming his way other than Kongo if Kongo wins. If Herring stops Kongo, then maybe Herring.

I didnt...
these are 2 completely different situations though.
anyone thinking gg/ werdum was going to be over quick had to be banking on a quick ko. if you had it a sub you're foolish
Kongo vs werdum is different in the fact that kongo cant neutralize werdum on the ground. Kongo's ground game is abyssmal, and against a guy as good as werdum on the ground hell get subbed when the fight first hits the ground
Kongo got mounted by yvel and cro-cop in seconds. What will happen against someone who knows what they're actually doing on the ground.

Werdum couldnt get AA to the ground so what makes you think its a gurantee that Kongo is going to the ground? Neither have a outstanding sprawls. Werdum would be very weary of getting KO'ed again and would turn out like AA vs Werdum.
