I really hope he'll be back and I think he has a style that could do well against Silva.
I really don't understand why the UFC didn't renew his contract. So what, he lost by UD to a guy (at the time was considered the UFC golden boy 21-1 or something) and another guy that beat all his opponents in less than 2 min.
David would have won the Swick fight had it gone on. Unfortunately David was fighting that fight like it was a 5 round fight.
It's a shame. I really like David. He seems really down to Earth and like a decent guy. The MW division is lacking top fighters right now it would be silly not to have him back.

I believe he's only in his mid 20's - and I recently saw an interview with him - he sounded like he's really focusing again. I don't claim to know how the UFC thinks, but I'd bet if he gets a few more consecutive wins they'd be interested.

if gsp keeps on winning and petitions to get him back, im sure the ufc would resign him, they need depth at MW in a bad way, and as long as his head is in it hes a contender.

Rich has already fought and beat him.
Loiseau is a good fighter but Yushin, Rich, Dan, Anderson, and a few others would still be a little too tough for him IMO.

id love to see it, the guy is a tough matchup for anybody and he is one of the most explosive fighters in all of mma. he has some flaws which reared their ugly head against mike swick, but the guy has all the tools to be great and i hope he gets his career back on track.

I've talked to him on myspace and he seems really focus and he's a very nice guy. but I feel bad for the guy. he was a supposed to have a fight a while back and got injured, and now his fight at wco got canceled. Hopefully stuff starts goin his way and he ccould definitly come back and be a top contender

David Loiseau hasn't been the same since the Rich Franklin fight. Its almost like Rich put that fighter spirit out in him. I only seen him fight once since he has left the UFC and I didn't think he looked good in that fight. But the upside is he is only like 27-28 years old so he can get back on track.
