Alexander's worked on his ground-game no doubt, so i see him striking, sprawling and kicking ass.

Every time I watch Irvin fight I think he's not very good, but he keeps winning. Weird things happen in his fights. That being said, Alexander by 1st round KO.

Irvin by flying knee KO in the first rnd!!!

just kidding. seriously, whoever said that this was a tailor-made matchup for Houston is 100% correct. Irvin isnt going to take Houston down cuz its not his style, even if he does i think Houston will just muscle his way back to his feet and power through he TD attempts. Saying that Irvin has great standup or underated standup is an irrelevant point considering that Houston's first two victims had excellent standup and he destroyed them both. I expect that Houston will have no problem running right through James Irvin.

both like to brawl, and avoid the ground if they have to. Houston got rocked pretty easily with the GnP from Thiago, but Irvin doesnt have a great chin either... my guess is they will both come out swinging Houston will get clipped and slightly rocked... land a big shot out of desperation, keep moving forward putting Irvin up against the cage and landing some knees to the body and a big punch KO'ing Irvin

Alexander should win unless he accidently rubs his knee on James Irvin while he is down and knocks him out and results in a DQ

I don't think either have the greatest chins and neither have a great ground game. So this is an easy Pick. It's who more explosive and lands the big punch first and we all know that will be Houston!

You got it bro,Houston will be more than ready for this one. He's gonna put a blitz attack on Irvin.

I actually don't think Irvin has much of a chance. I will take Alexander , by highlight KO in the 1rst.

irvin threw that fight with cane by acting, why are you picking him against a better striker, irvin isnt going to take it down to the ground and that will be his downfall against houston

As much as i dont rate Houston im pretty sure he will KO Irvin with ease, Irvin may well be the most overrated striker ever, he is sloppy with his strikes and has a glass jaw imo
