This fight is now going to be on the April UFC FN instead of UFC 84, just got a ufc email stating that
This has possible FOTY written all over it, desperate for Alves to win, and Karo to be shown he doesnt deserve a title shot

Has Karo ever been stopped with strikes??? I dont think so, not in the UFC at least, oh thats it i remember now, he fought Sherk twice back to back, he lost the 1st by decision then lost the 2nd about 16 mins in by TKO (towel) so yeah he has 1 loss by TKO but no doubt by GnP, he has never been finished standing

i think thiago alves crushes him in the second round by tko via strikes. i dont think karo parisyan striking is better then thiago's. i dont see karo being able to get a hold of him to clinch and execute his game plan. i see thiago winning decisively. ''DONT SLEEP ON DA PITBULL''

The thing that makes me disturbed about this fight is that Karo could have fought Kos or Fitch as they are also on the 82 card and would have been just as healthy and had enough training as well. I suppose it was smart to avoid both as they both would affectively end his title picture aspirations.
Karo will prolly win by UD sadly but Karo has been known to choke when he is close to a title shot so this could get interesting folks.
I didn't know that tearing your hamstring training before a fight was choking?
Karo is going to throw him all over, and finish it in the second with a kimura.

He may well be the most overrated fighter ever, if you seriously look at who he has beat and how then its not impressive and he is behind Fitch
Im not sure about Alves and his sprawl etc so Karo could come out and judo throw him and kimura him but i dunno i just see Karo agreeing to stand and strike alot like he did with Burkman for alot of their fight and eating leg kicks and punches, Thiago will hopefully keep a good distance and not let him close the gap, if he fights smart he can get the UD win but maybe even finish him

 but i just have a feeling that Thiago is so fast and explosive that he might be able to escape or power out of certain situations
He will DOMINATE the standup and i think it may just be enough to win the decision, Karo has never been stopped via strikes and while it could happen i wouldnt bet on it!
