HW- Big Nog, I think he's still #2 in the world. I think even if Randy does fight him, Nog is submitting him. I can't see nobody beating him but Fedor unless Randy LNP's against the cage.
LHW- Rampage, I see him vs Forrest being an all out war but I think he'll have the better of the exchanges and the wrestling. Plus he'll probably fight Chuck in late 08 since they'll probably give him a grappler or a weak chinned striker(Jardine) to easily defeat. Rampage already beat him twice. Nothings changed to say Chuck is going to win #3.
MW- Anderson Silva, Rampage rocked hendo with sloppy flurries. I think Silva hits harder and is ten times more accurate. I don't think he knocks him out, But I think he stops Dan. And if he gets passed Dan, nobody is going to beat him. Kampman you might say, but his chin barely held up against Drew. I think Anderson would murder him.
WW- Jon Fitch, I think after GSP destroys Serra. Fitch is the only person. I think he can get by Karo with an exciting decision and I think GSP and himself are the elite in the division. They have both defeated the who's who in the division and now it's on a matter of time before they meet and I honestly feel Fitch's wrestling will be ready for a surprise shot from GSP, he'll sprawl and they will go to war and I think Fitch can beat him. His striking is better then hughes, and he's a younger and more explosive wrestler then Hughes right now. Perfect fighter to take on GSP.
LW- Sean Sherk-I have Joe beating BJ, but I think it does not matter who wins. Sherks LNP is straight nasty and will beat anybody. We need to find a GSP in the LW division. Sprawl and shoot on him and stop him like GSP. I'm hoping Frankie could be that person but he might be too small size wise.

HW: - Nog (Unless Arlovski resigns an is given a title shot)
LHW: - Rampage
MW: - Hendo (An i think he'll take out Silva with ease as well)
WW: - GSP (Untouchable in this devision for a long while)
LW: - Sherk (Even after the roids thing he'll still be too strong for anyone in this devision)

HW: Arlovski (assuming he sticks around) LHW: Wanderlei (This was the toughest division for me to choose. I originally had Soko but I don't know if he'll be able to do it this year. He might need more time. Other than Wanderlei either Forrest or Rampage.) MW: Dan Henderson WW: GSP LW: The Muscle Shark

This is the only thread I've ever responded to w/o reading.
Havent you learned in the last year we have no idea what 12 months could mean. PPL get injured, upsets happen, we barely knwo who'll fight beyond spring.

Do you remember my "when will Machida get a shot" thread ages ago? If I remember correctly you didn't know if he was good enough to be champ

HW - Big Nog (Tim wont be able to do to Nog as he did to Vera, Tim is like the HW version of Karo)
LHW - Liddell (I honestly feel that he will come back and win the belt, much rather see Rampage with it though)
MW - Anderson Silva (its hard not to say Hendo, but if he cant stop silva, who can?)
WW - JON FITCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (with out a doubt in my mind, Jon Fitch is th enext Anderson Silva of the WW division)
LW - Ken-flo (Frankie Edgar is right there too, we will probally be seeing these 2 fight at the end of 08, but Penn only fighting once a damn year now a days could screw some things up.)

HW - Sylvia - i think he will jab his way to a win over Nog and even if Randy comes back ill stil pick Syliva by UD.
LHW - Rampage - since probly his only fifght will be with Forrest Rampage should remain champ
MW - Anderson - Hes a monster. Hendo is a close second but a very technical striker will pick him apart and BJJ balckbelts seem to be his weakness on the ground.
WW - GSP - Hughes was the closest threat and he dominated hughes twice.
LW - Penn if Sherk doesnt return and Sherk if he returns in time.

Oh boy here we go....
Heavweight: Frank Mir - I know...but when he beats Lesnar he will be the sexy star of the UFC and take the quick track to the title shot and win.
LightHeavy: Lyoto Machida - I dont know when or how but he will end up with it
Middleweight: Anderson Silva - without a doubt. Henderson will go to sleep for the first time in his career
Welterweight: GSP - Really pushing Anderson Silva for best pound for pound in my book. I dont see anyone hanging with GSP at all this year.
Lightweight: Penn - As long as he focused he will take care of business, but Kenflo could take advantage if Penn lets his guard down.
