Great Interview, he drops the f-bomb about twenty times, but he gets his point across about what he thinks will happen to his son in MMA. Here's a small quote:
"All of this he talking about right now, this martial arts s***, I’m telling you, he about to get broke the f*** up right now. I’m telling you, he could forget all of that stuff being cute and how you supposed to hit somebody with a check hook. Man, them motherf*****’s going to take that check hook motherf***er and squeeze your guts out. I’m just being real with you man."

Floyds dad said he'll lose in MMA? I pick him against anyone lol. Floyd's dad says he'll lose and he wins, it's funny that way.

Frickin' hilarious. Mayweather needs to train for at least a year (as said by Marcus Davis) then step into MMA. Right now, he'd get squashed.

Is everybody rapidly going insane?! If FMJ had no prior MMA training, i would bet against him if he fought my grappling instructor.
Are people seriously talking about him competing in the MMA?! It took Marcus Davis seven years to get good enough to win in the UFC. Mark Cuban is doing a terrible thing to the sport, because he puts an idea into people's heads that a boxer with no prior training could actually win in MMA. It also shows how little people actually know about this sport. I have absolutely no respect for Mark Cuban for starting up all this nonsense.

I think witht the right traianing it wouldn't take him long to be able to fight. But he would have to train with Chuck or Mirko learn the MMA stand up and takedown defence. I do agree if he got on the ground he would get hurt I am sure all the shit he is talking who ever got him down is poppin something out no warning pain just stright to snap!

*sigh*
This is what kills me. People that come to this forum supposedly know a thing or two about MMA. Chuck Liddell was a Division I wrestler in college, that's how he "learned" his stand-up defense.

I think if he wants to give MMA a shot, he is gonna have to devote all his time to it, and completely walk away from boxing (for now atleast) traing a solid year or year and a half of ju jitsu and wrestling..and start small... fight a few unexperianced fighters....and slowly develop and work his way ino it...if he really wants to

same mentality as a person with no stand up (royce) and all jiu jitsu (royce) could be a legend in this sport?
royce is still as one dimensional as floyd is. marcus davis shouldn't even be in the same sentance as PBF in boxing terms. if he learns a sprawl ( a la liddel, crocop (both with very weak ground games) ) i think hes a legit contender based on his natural ability and being one of the best boxers EVER.
