It takes forever to get a sport into the Olympics. Sure, I'd like to see it. But MMA has a lot of other things to worry about before the Olympics. Good thread idea though.

I hope it never happens.

The rules/scoring would be so ridiculous that it would just make a mockery of the sport.

On a side note, every sport is so international now anyway, that I don't even really see a need for the olympics anymore anyway.

I think for it to be made into an olympic sport the rules would tone it down so much it would hardly even resemble mma. The fact fighters have to go through so many fights, plus the wide audience would mean it would end up being pretty boring imo due to the strict rules that would need to be imposed, imo.

Yeah definitly no strikes to the head on the ground.
Probably be 3x3min rounds
For sure there would be headgear and maybe bigger gloves. It would ruin grapplers for sure.

I think BJJ needs to become a Olympic sport. If Judo is why not Jiu-Jistu?

Yeah.It would probably become more of a secondary form of MMA.don't think it would really be a good idea.

Yeah it would be weired and extremaly tough for the fighter to go threw like 6 fights to get into the finals.... My opinion first two fights would be ok but then it would get crappy so i have to save please dont....
