I can't help but to wonder how big Tim would fair against Choi.I know it seems like a bit of a stretch, but big Tim wouldn't be able to bully someone like Choi with his size.Granted he did take Dan Mcgee, who was a giant in himself, but that idea sparked in my mind earlier today.I'm not saying Choi would kill Tim,but nonetheless,it's still an entertaining thought.
Choi didn't look amazing, but he looked in very good shape for a guy his size.Just a few sloppy punches that landed on Fedor bruised him up pretty bad.I got a feeling this guy "CAN" and "WILL" be more than just another Giant Silva.

Wow fedor submitted Hong man choi, He must be the best in the world.
(Not bashing!)
did you watch the fight. watch the fight and see the arm bar and the size differential before throwing out wise cracks.
Sorry to offend, The armbar was great, The 1st one looked good too. But, Wow fedor submitted Hong man choi, He must be the best in the world.
If he dont fight some quality guy soon, Goodbye Fedor

In all honesty I don't think this is a nothing win, Choi can friggin hit(ask LeBanner who said it was like getting hit with 5 of anyone elses) and Fedor took some shots. Also he was able to get chois arm.

A nothing win, I would say no, but Choi still is not a viable contender in MMA as of yet . Also, he is in a different weight class, although it is a higher one, which actually adds to the fights credibility. Since Fedor isn't going to fight anyone from the UFC, I wish he wouldn't wait around for Randy. He could fight Barnett( my favorite choice) , or even Kharitanov and I think most fans would be somewhat mollified. I just want to see him fight top heavyweight guys, beating Barnett/Kahritanov/Randy in a row should be a very legit reason to keep him at # 1 in anyones rankings for the next year in a half IMO . Let's hope.

I'm sure Choi wasnt "convinced" to accept these rules with $$
Thats my attempt at sarcasm, sorry
Whether that is true or not, I don't think it matters. Unless M1 held Choi's family hostage and threatened them so he couldn't use knees in the fight, I don't see how this is anyone's but Choi decision to agree to it.

Add me to the list. I think it would be very interesting and I think Tim would lose. Choi was able to take Fedor down just be using his weight. Tim is a big guy, but Choi still have at least 50 lbs on him, which is something Tim is not used to. I also think Choi is a superior striker.
Alas, it will never happen in the UFC unless they have an open weight division.

seriously you guys are something. fedor fought a tough guy and put a beautiful armbar on him and all you guys can say is that you are not impressed. what would he have had to do to impress you?
Fought a legit contender or even a top 20 guy. Not sombody with 1 mma fight (which lasted less than 20 seconds). I think people need to realise just becouse choi is alot bigger, doesnt mean he was automatically a threat. Im not taking anything away from the big man, he does have alot of talent and hes a good athlete for a man of his size, but anybody who really thought fedor wasnt gona have this one over inside the first round with a sub needs to watch more of fedors fights and realise just how good he is on the ground.
