Who would you like to see replace JZ against Aoki? They probably can't pull it off at this point, but I'd love to see Gomi vs. Aoki.

Pretty much anyone. People just love to see him fight.
But yea Gomi would be perfect! As long as we're on the topic of soemthing that wont happen on the 31st...how about he fights BJ Penn lol.
That'd be sweet.

i was thinking Gomi-Aoki also. Aoki has been working his ass off for JZ and JZ hasn't been training. Gomi seems right, but im no sure what weight this is gonna be at because if they use pride's old rules it should be at 160, but i have herd they are going to use 155.

its too bad kawajiri has an opponent, id like to see them at a catch weight, crusher may be too small though, a sakurai rematch would be cool too, but again, he has an opponent. so i guess gomi is the best choice available.

Gomi or Shaolin.

Shaolin is recovering from the detached retina, Gomi seems impossible to pull off at this point, Sakurai already has an opponent.
And so my pick from left field...
Nao Yoshida !

Shaolin's coming off a loss against JZ. It wouldn't make sense to throw him in there. Gomi is the logical choice but where the heck is he?!

On the K-1 website they have Bukyung Jung as a replacement for JZ. Never heard of this guy, but I still think Shinya gets the early sub.

Yep. It's Jung bu-kyung. Sad. I thought the fact that M-1 are getting fighters from K-1 and the old PRIDE, we'd have a decent replacement. This guy hasn't fought before too.

No i guess not... I was and still am a Pride junkie... But this was always one of my biggest qualms with the promotion... It's not fair to the fan to hype a mega fight and then give us a one sided affair like this... I'll still check this card out, but it really took some of the jelly out of my donut
