I just found this...........

-- Former WWE champion Brock Lesnar is the 2-1 favorite in most betting lines against Frank Mir.

I didn't check it out but I found it a bit crazy!

I want to see Brock do well, But giving him Mir is just asking to have him go, Tap Tap Tap

i agree, i really think and also hope that Mir will sub Lesnar in rd 1 !!
probably alot of WWE fans are betting on Lesnar, that's why the odds is so ridiculous !!

wow its almost a disgrace to mma fighters giving a wwe guy a 2-1 over a former champ who at one time really was one of the best. and he still is no push over i agree that lesner is going to tap out in the first.

i think lesnar has the athleticism and strength to make this a lot closer than people are giving him credit for. i would love nothing more than to see a former pro wrestler get schooled in mma, but lesnar is the wrong guy to be wishin this against. dude's gonna surprise some people in his next few matches

Well guys, you have to remember mir is the guy who was supposed to fight Tim Sylvia again instead of Hardonk, but the athletic commission wouldn't allow it because of the skill disparity so its not like lesnar is the favorite against a dominant fighter. mir hasn't impressed me much at all and i think with his limited stamina he very well may lose to lesnar. now, i have a hard time picking a guy with only 1 fight but it isn't so crazy to see him as a favorite when you look at the perceived strength difference and the poor performances mir has put up since his accident.

lmao @ everyone who refers to Lesnar as "that WWE guy" or anything related to his involvement in pro wrestling. You guys must have selective reading cause I've said time and time again;

* North Dakota State University's annual Bison tournament
o 1997-1998 winner
* Collegiate Wrestling -
o 1998 Junior College National Champion
o Big Ten Title (1999-2000)
o 1999 NCAA Division I runner-up
o Ranked the #1 Heavyweight in the Big Ten (2000)
o 2000 NCAA Division I Champion

Lol, just "some WWE guy" my ass.

Well, 7 years is very long man.
it is not like if the guy was doing real fight in between, he was doing FAKE sport for 7 years . i am sure that his steroid level was so hight that he was half blind sometimes !! lol

For me I'm not going to decide on this fight till after the weigh ins. Lesnar despite what many believe is a top grappler. Hell if we got rid of all the people in MMA who have ever been involved in profesional wrestling it would blow all these Brock haters away. For me the big questions with this fight would be A. Lesnar's chin and striking ability, and also his submission defence. B. Mir and his mental and physical state, he hasn't been the same since his accident. Is is body up to this, more importantly is his mind confident enough to know this fight is his for the taking.

Should be a great fight, and anyone who is dismissing Lesnar because he is a WWE star should look at his past and how well top wrestlers have done in MMA just a wee bit closer.

True at the 7 years ago comment, but I'm pointing out that hes not some average former WWE wrestler. If we were talking about someone like Triple H or Shawn Michaels showing an interest in MMA, I'd laugh my ******* ass off. Hell, I'd even laugh my ass off at Kurt Angle, Olympic medalist or not, cause hes on so many painkillers he wouldn't feel a mack truck to the ballsack. But Lesnar, I think hes got the potential. I'd rather UFC hype up a former pro wrestler than some guy posting his backyard brawls on Youtube *coughkimbocough*

Im no Lenser hater, I just think him being the current favourite is crap, I excpect him to do very well in the UFC.

I just really cant wait to see how he goes.

There's no way i could make a guy with one fight under his belt the favourite against a former champion. Think about how crazy that sounds and what it would say about MMA if Lesnar won.

I hope Frank Mir appreciates the importance of it.

i really want mir to win this fight but i think lesnar is the favorite. not a 2-1 favorite mind you but a slight favorite. if he hadnt been working with eric paulson i would think mir might be a slight favorite. just lesnar's power and strength is gonna make him tough for anyone at hw and when you add in paulson helping him with subs and more importantly sub defense he could be a force. i dont want to see it that way as a like mir and greatly prefer bjj guys to wrestlers and i also am not a big fan of big super strong, cut from mt olympus looking guys....

im willing to make a real money bet for everything i can scrape together for lesnar at anything approaching even money...
