If true, this is very interesting to me as i saw this as a step down for Kongo anyways. Who y'all think they will have to replace McCully in this fight?
I know its wishful thinking but it seems like a good opportunity for the Ufc to get "The Pitbull" on the "supposed" CBS card!http://www.mmanews.com/ufc/McCully-Misses-Opportunity-To-Take-Kongo-Fight-At-UFC-81.html

i don't really understand why McCully would refuse this fight, this is a big opportunity for him to move up in the ranking.

probably a mistake or a misunderstanding !!

might be wrong, but i was under the impression justin was with Tito on USO tour, but its not like they dont have fax machines over there where he couldve got the contract signed, if he truly wanted it he wouldve signed it.

Because I bet McCully was scared going up againest a top contender, he doesnt have half the skills of kongo.

He wouldn't have been able to answer this week, he's with Tito in Iraq on a USO tour.

This is good news. He had no business stepping in there with Kongo after he beat croCop. He deserves to fight another top HW. I think AA would be the perfect opponent. And if not AA then maybe Vera, but im pretty sure he is out for a while longer with his hand injury. So lets hope for Kongo vs AA

McCully didn't want this fight. He struggled against Antoni Hardonk, who is a can.

I also think that either AA or Vera would be a good choice, but what about Jake O'Brien? I know he hasn't fought since last January, but I think he was injured. He should be ready to come back right about now.

uld care less if McCully ever fights in the UFC again, there are too many good fighters to worry about McCully, I would rather see Barnett, Overeem, Buentello, AA, heck even Rizzo or SuperPunk, McCully is not exciting and all of these fighter have either personalities or awesome history to play off of, we need some solid gatekeeper to compare all of the fighters to

McCully should be picking himself in the ass for missing this opportunity. He actually matches up quite nicely against Kongo and would possibly win via a boring UD if he comes prepared.
