That's Wanderlei Silva's mindset going into his UFC 79 fight against Chuck Liddell. He's made it clear that it's a very important fight and he wants to win.

Buuuuuuut we know that won't happen. Wandy's a freakin' silverback and I think we'll see the Wandy of old as opposed to the Wandy in the last 2 fights.

And I guess Brett Farve is just a football player, Magic Johnson was just a basketball player, Arnold Palmer was just a golfer, and Andre Agassi was just a tennis player.

Yeah Wandy is a beast whether he loses or not. Cro cop is still #1 on my list even though he lost to 2 B-level fighters. I have faith Wandy will come back from his back to back losses, just like Crop Cop will
I just thought about this. Wandy tore Rampage up.Rampage made chuck look like a joke twice. Whether its crappy MMath or not, if Rampage can stand with Chuck and not Wandy, I would bet Wandy has the better stand-up than Chuck. I really hope Chuck comes looking good and focusing on training so this is a brawl. I guess only time will tell. 8 days and counting

True, you can't kill a man's legacy with just a couple of fights. Watch for these guys to get back in the winning column.... CroCop, Hendo, and Rua!!!

Wandy training 4 times a day for 4 months?? I hope he doesn't overtrain if there is such a thing, but that sounds like it. I like watching both fighters fight weather they win or lose, I'm just a bigger fan of Liddell so I hope he comes back strong this fight and gets the win.

These 2 guys are my #1 and #1A favorite fighters. I LOVED watching Wandy fight (when Pride producers weren't showing me shots of the Japanese crowd in the middle of fights, that is). His ultra-aggression is SO entertaining to watch.
Whichever way this fight ends, I hope the winner absolutely destroys Rampooch, if they get the shot after Forrest (who I dont think has much of a chance)

I want to see Chuck deal with those Wanderlei knees. He cannot afford to clinch. Hopefully Wanderlei's style will translate to the octagon. There are no knees to downed opponents (or soccar kicks for that matter) but still, Wandy's standing knees are vicious. What he did to Sakurabi makes me cry. On the other hand, we have seen that Wanderlei CAN be brought down - he tends to get "sluggy" and can be caught on the chin. Chuck needs to keep him at a distance and frustrate him. In PRIDE I loved to hate Wanderlei, but I'm looking for him to demolish Chuck and represent for PRIDE. Anyway, I am so sick of Chuck's damn commercials!

As far as the winner fighting Rampage...I love that guy. I watched him come up through PRIDE, as almost a sideshow attraction, but he developed into an awesome competitor with some serious skills and technique (called the "Whoop Ass Style" ;), despite the slams and howls. He's the real deal. I'd like him to get a chance to avenge his defeats to Wanderlei personally.

I think Chuck will take it if he gets his head back in the game.
