MacDonald is my fav fighter and after the Hamil decision and his behavior following i havent been the biggest Bisping supporter so I'd love to see this fight happen and for Jason to get a big win. MacDonald by armbar!

I dont know how you can rag on a guy when his only losses in the ufc are to okami and franklin. Obviously this guy doesnt deserve a title shot, but its not like bisping is comming in with the reputation that he's gonna wreck the division. Jason McDonald is probably around 4th after silva/hendo/franklin/okami.. having him fight bisping will give the fans and joe silva a great idea as to how bisping measures up.

let me clarify, im not ragging on him, but for him to say bisping wont make an impact makes little sense to me when its not like hes set the world on fire either.

I say Bisping stops him in the 2nd round wit a tko ... cuz jason at MW is not even colse to as good of a wrestler as rahsad at LHW .... he wont even come close to a take down ... be forced to stand and put in his place

Im suprised so many people think mcdonald will win, i spose its maily due to all the hate directed as bisping nowdays. I personally dont think mcdonald has much of a chance. Bisping can more than hold his own on the ground, and tbh, if rashad struggled to take him down i cant see mcdonald getting many takedowns at all. I got mike by a late TKO or desicive UD. Mcdonald just doesnt impress me that much, i think hes an average fighter at best, who for some reason has developed somwhat of a big mouth since he picked up a few wins.

If it was Bisping's first fight at 185 he is still fighting a big guy in MacDonald. Other than that I think this one would be an awesome fight. MacDonald really hates guys that were on TUF eh.

Guy with overrated striking VS guy with overrated BJJ, very exciting

Macdonald is just desperately trying to avoid Tanner in his return, i see that fight as more likely

Still to Bisping for ducking Hamill, hope he gets tooled in the MW division

Unless Mc Donald improves his standup i see bisbing taking this. Bisbing showed against evans that his takedown defence has improved and i cant see Mc Donald winning a stand up fight. I also dont belive bisbing can ko him and if he does drop him i dont see bisbing wanting to get involved on the ground. Bisbing by decision

totally! You KNOW that his next stop was going to be MB v. Hamill II !! and so he didn't lose AGAIN he dropped.

i'm not a hater, but i can't stand when supposed warriors run from competition by dropping weight classes.

I'd have to give it to MacDonald. (regardless of how much I dislike his attitude)

That is if it is Bispings first fight at MW...

I think if Bisping gets a seasoned opponent at middleweight he'll have an issue, not due to any lack of technical skill but simply due to a new weight cut...

I think Bisping will take a fight or two to get used to the cutting down to MW.... I know he'll have a great cardio guy and a great fight camp but thats a big cut when he's used to walking into the ring at his own weight.

It's a different game when you don't feel at 100% due to a week of steady cutting prior.

I hope he'll steadily come down to a comfortable 195 prior to his first fight week cut.

He beat Hamil though...

People have been saying for ages that Bisping should drop to MW, now you're saying the only reason he's dropping is to avoid Hamil - riiiiight!

I agree with moob. And besides that, I wouldnt doubt that the UFC is putting pressure on Bisping to move down considering the lack of depth in the MW division. I doubt Bisping is running from Matt Hamil. And if Im not mistaken, that fight would have happened anyways if it hadnt been for Hamill having surgery on his knee. Not to mention he voiced his preference to stay at 205 several times publicly. Sorry babytater and cornish, but I think you guys are dead wrong on this one.
