Outspoken UFC welterweight contender Karo Parisyan (18-4 MMA, 8-2 UFC) was a guest on the latest installment of HDNet’s “Inside MMA,” and during the one-hour episode, he shared information on his next possible fight, as well as his thoughts on women competing in MMA.

Yeah i saw it !!

the guy seem to believe that he don't need to fight anymore before having a title shot ?!?!

the guys is living in the past by always bringing back his old title shot missed because of an injuree and he still believe that he is higher than his 8th spot in the ranking.

i just want to see him being destroy by Fitch or Koschek to see what kind of excuses he will make !!

since his apparition at TUF 5 i have completely removed him from my respected fighters list and his inside MMA comment is not going to bring him back on it soon.

That's pretty much what I figured he'd say about women in mma. This sport is not filled with a lot of deep-thinkers.

karo vs. alves would be a war, that would probably be a much more entertaining fight than karo vs. fitch.

Yeah, I hope that fight happens. I like Karo and all, but Alves just might be the guy who robs him of that title shot, I know Fitch would!!

So Karo doesn't deserve that title shot, even though he had to drop out due to an injury. I can understand that, but when the organization that he fights for pulls a double standard, and gives GSP a title shot after that injury, why is he above the rule, or Karo below it.
And for Karo fighting Alves or Fitch, it would be a war. But if Koscheck gets into the clinch he'll get thrown all over the place and get dominated. I really don't care who he fights, as long as he fights. It's no secret he's my favorite fighter, and it's because of how exciting all of his fights are. He needs to get back into the cage, and IMO before April 1.

he needs to suck it up and not say that he wants an easy next fight so he could get a title shot in his next fight. that's ridiculous.

“I don’t want to wait for that long, so I’ll get a fight in between for a more guaranteed win. Jon Fitch? I still think I can beat Jon Fitch. I think I have more tools to beat Jon Fitch. I have tremendous respect for him, but I still think I can beat him… but I need an easier fight than Jon Fitch so I can basically have a high percentage of beating (the opponent) and getting a title shot.“

At first I thought this had to be a joke. This is exactly the kind of attitude that a fighter should not have. I'm officially removing Karo from my favorite fighter category.

What worth is the title belt, if you there are people out there who can beat you? It is not worth much (besides hundreds of thousands of dollars of prize money and sponsorship contracts).

Yeah, i was stunted when he said that !?!?

how can he believe that he is the best, when he said in the same sentence that he is better than Fitch but he want to have an easier fight ???!!

probably because Fitch will destroy him and he know that very well !!

Here's the Inside MMA episode with the Karo interview. It happens at about the 10 min mark, but the whole show is worth checking out if you have the time.

I think it's hilarious that he sees Thiago Alves as being an easy/easier fight. With the roll that Alves is on and with the talent that he has...I mean Alves is easily my favorite welterweight, but damn...I wanna see this fight go down now, bad.
