The next fight of Bisping is suppose to be in the MW division.
so, Bisping / Hamill 2 would never happen i guess.

I hope Bisping gets eaten alive at MW, all shit talking aside though, i think MW will be a better move for him, but i just don't see the guy's skills. There is nothing about Bisping that impresses me to tell you the truth and i can't help but feel he is nothing more than mediocre and doomed to be such. AS for a rematch with Hamill, I guess Bisping is tired of being embarrassed on national television.
How funny would it be if Hamil dropped to MW too just for one fight to get his revenge on Bisping?

I can’t complain about a controversial loss because I was coming off a controversial win.

Cheers to those who don't bitch.

I still think Bisping will be beaten by the likes of Franklin, Marquardt, and a few other guys... maybe a Leben, etc.

Maybe bisping will be a big MW but it really doesn't mean that he will dominate it !!

This is good for the UFC because the middleweight division is a trick pony and bisping wasn't doing well at LHW. I wonder how many wins he needs before he gets a title shot though. I'm thinking maybe 2 or 3 fights before we see bisping vs. Silva. I think silva would kill him though.

I meant a 3 trick pony (Silva, Henderson, and Franklin) 3 key didn't work.

I feel there is an unhealthy disregard for Bisping's abilities on here. I also feel that this sentiment is borne from an unhealthy disregard from across the Atlantic, and nothing terribly valid.

I think Bisbing will do well in the MW div... it seems that it would be more naturally comfortable for him, and he has the skill set to be a contender...

Hopefully they don't feed him too many lower level fighters so we (and he) can actually gage how well he'll fare in the division...

I heard a rumor that he will fight Charles "Chainsaw" McCarthy at MW for his first fight... which is kinda lame if true

Its not that it just the skill level of Anderson Silva and Dan Henderson. I know Bisping has skills. Look at how well he stuffed Evan's takedowns. He just isn't at Silva or Henderson's skill level yet. He may be there in the future.

Rashad was sort of a contender in LHW before his loss to Tito (draw, whatever). Bisping's split decision loss to Rashad shows that he will do very well in MW. He's no cut 205, and I have no idea what he was doing in LHW for so long.

I'm not saying that he will take the belt from Silva, but there's only 1 champ, and 8 bouts on the card. Bisping has had some really good fights in the past and I'm excited about this.

I think you're right.... Bisping is a chucky LHW.....

I doubt he'll have much trouble cutting down to middleweight

plus I think bisping would be an excellent "re-climb the ladder" match for Rich Franklin....

It might be good for the division to have another "reasonably" well known name in it... the only fight I would even care to see out of that division as it is would be Kendall Grove getting a shot at the Anderson Silva... perhaps after his jorge fight.....

All in all it can't hurt the MW division and LHW has a good enough mix w/o Bisping...

lol kendall grove would get killed by anderson silva. thats not an interesting fight at all. if silva beats henderson, then he has nothing left to prove and he should go fight at 170.

My disregard for Bisping's "abilities" has nothing to do with where hes from or anything like that. I just simply have not been impressed by the guy. He didn't really win the TUF whatever he was on, and he lost (IMO) to the person who would have been oppisite him in the cage for the finale. All in all he hasn't been bad to watch, just very disappointing for me. I have simply just been unimpressed by his performances... Props to the guy for hopping in the cage, and props to him for turning his aditude around once the backlash from his snide comments subsided, but im still waiting for Bisping to show something special. Thats all.
