I predict easy wins for Buakaw and Souwer. Unless there is some kind of crazy upset, these matches do look like easy matches to get the ball rolling for the 2008 MAX GP, even if it does seem a way off yet. That said, most matches could appear like warm ups and feeders, since Souwer, Masato and Buakaw are so good that as long as they are on form, no one from outside their little triplicate can beat them, they can only beat each other.

Manhoef's got the the youth but Aert's has the experience, more power (in kicks at least) and better accuracy. Aerts will win if he actually fights, but like cmill noted his knee looked pretty bad the other night.

Tyrone Spong will probably blow through whoever they put him up against. I have not yet seen a great deal of his fights, but I hear on the grapevine a lot that he is a real player at the weight he fights at.

I was hoping to see Martin Holm on this card, he is apperently making his K-1 comeback. If you don't know who he is check him out on youtube, he was a very skilled fighter before alcohol and depression took their toll.

Yvel vs. Overeem is actually a pretty good MMA match....I wonder if Overeem will try for a takedown.

Sounds more than a little bit like Alexey Ignashov!

Yes he has been having personal issues as well. He hasn't fought in a while either, but Holms been out for a long time. Swed's should be happy that Holms back in healthy, the princess is safe! lol.
