Mac is a good fighter he showed that, but the LWs in the UFC are no joke
if i were Joe Silva i would have to put Mac up against Spencer Fisher
that would be a good fight. Spencer Fisher is a great fighter comeing off the loss to Frankie i think that this will be a good fight for him, and as far as Mac is consired i think that Spencer would be a great win under his belt

he wont get a guy that good just yet. my guess is a guy like alberto crane or nate mohr, somebody that he can smash easily.

or maybe Cole Miller , seeing that Andy Wang lost to him and Mac and Andy are friends, and Mac is already a good fighter is is not a rooky so i think that the UFC should give him some tough fights

I think fischer would be a great fight. Maybe frankie edger, another good matchup for danzig.

I dont think people realize how experienced Mac is. He fought Hayato Sakurai. He lost but thats still very impressive just to think that Pride thought he was good enough to fight him. In my opinion, he had no business being on the show and he rightfully dominated.

I think fischer is the perfect choice. He a top-tier UFC fighter but not at contender status.

i agree on his experience but the ufc has historically given the tuf winner a can in their first fight.

forrest: bill mahood
diego: brian gassway
rashad: sam hoger
stevenson: josh neer
joe daddy lost and rashad almost lost so they stopped that trend of giving them worthy opponents afterwards.
grove: chris price
bisping: eric schafer
tuf 4 was different
diaz: junior assuncaou.

now i agree that danzig is better post tuf then the rest of these guys but i dont see them giving him anybody more than a mediocre vet. i dont think he gets anybody better than rich clementi which would be similar to joe daddy vs. neer or rashad vs. hoger.

i say give him a rematch against kurt pellegrino and see if he can avenge his loss. kurt is a solid fighter and put up a great fight against joe daddy and i want to see who has progressed the most since their last fight. for kurt, a win over a guy like mac who has recently gotten all of this hype will be huge for him and put him back in the minds of ufc fans. for mac, a win over kurt will be an avenged loss and would be a huge mental boost for him and at the same time prove that he is here to stay at LW. it would be a great close fight as both fighters put on great fights and keep an exciting pace.

I think Nate Diaz would be a good opponent.
Either that or someone making their UFC debut.

He will not be a strong LW, so he really does need a warmup fight before jumping into the middle of the fire.

Mac is a real deal and it's only a matter of time before he's a true threat for the title. I would like to see him fight Kenflo or Huerta to see if he could hang with some good fighters. Both are coming off huge wins so I rather see them fight each other so I'll be realistic. Clay is in a do or die situation. His last two wins have been split. He has lost 3 fights already in the UFC I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong. Din(Unanimous), Tyson(Split), and Huerta(Sub) He's exciting but you know how gay Joe Silva cna be sometimes. Get rid of the good fighters who lose a few and bring in boring fighters who find ways to win. I want to see Mac vs. Clay. To see if Mac can hang with the elite. Clay is a great gate keeper. He is a true warrior and would put fighters through hell to prove themselves.

Clay Guida for me!
