imagine:

A tournament just like all the other tuff's exept with good fighters competing instead of cans, up and comers and has beens.

Instead of 5 g's for a finish to a fight, allot more depending on how deep into the contest the fight was.

Of coarse good fighters woudlent agree to this with the 5 g winning perse.

But if they got a nice bag of money and a title shot for winning the contest they might seriously consider doing it.

Top ufc contenders fighting on tuff would be very exiting to watch. Im not nearly as interested in these other fighters.

Although I highly agree with you on this being a good idea... It doesn't seem very possible to do, I think they would have too much trouble getting well developed ufc fighters to all spend their time in a house on a reality tv show...

It would all be too pricey for Dana, and I althought it would be a million times entertaining I don't think they would get the ratings they would need to be able to pay for that type of scenario.

One of the reasons the TUF works so well... is Amateur fighters are looking for their shot to get into the spot light... and they do if for a pretty small amount of money...

Some fighters out there would probably be willing to be on the show for free... just to get the experience they would gain...

i think this was a great idea... just not quite possible.. not yet anyways....

Stupid idea. Why take up the time of a good UFC fighter by making him go on a reality show just to fight anyway. It would be useless, and I definitly wouldn't watch it. I'd much rather have those fighters compete in ACTUAL fights in PPVs without all the BS of living in a house with a ton of other fighters just to compete in a two round exhibition fight.

Imagin a guy like Cro Cop trapped in a house, he would kill someone. When your talking about top fighters, your talking about just that top fighters. Guys that are now millionairs, they don't want to be trapped in a house with a bunch of people, they also have some pretty big ego's. You also end up with people (like Cro Cop, and others) who prefer to be very private, rooming with someone is probably not and option.

this was called TUF 4...and looked who turned out for that one...no top fighters would subject themselves to this unless they were desperate or their careers were waining.
