What do you IFL fans think would happen if Chris Horodecki went up against Deividas Taurosevicius? IMO, this is the next big fight in the LW division if it happens. DT comes in and takes out two of the IFL's top lightweights in the post-season and should Horodecki take the belt on 12/29, it would make sense. Of course we'd have to wai till next season. Opinions please.....

I say sure.. as long as Chris beats Lierley again.. If I were Chris I wouldn't be looking past Lierley, because he'll be looking to avenge his loss. Boy, Horodecki/Lierley was more entertaining than Horodecki/Palaszewski 2..

Deividas Taurosevicius wins hands down. Doing the MMath Chris got 2 split decision wins over Bart while Deividas subbed him quite quickly. That was a Miletech guy who teaches BJJ to the camp. Taurosevicius is the real deal!

DT has better JJ by far and i don't think Horo's take down defense is good enough to keep it standing. although i love horo and love everything he has accomplished in the IFL and i think that maybe one day he should go to the UFC after he hones his skills a bit, but at this point tin time, under IFL rules, i have DT by sub 2nd round. horo is the future of this division and he can definitely win, but i would put money on DT.

I still say you have to wait and see.. Think about this.. Forrest Griffin beat Shogun by Sub in the third.. Forrest couldn't beat Stephan Bonnar by anything more than a Decision.. Does this mean Stephan Bonnar is better than Shogun? What about Keith Jardine.. He beat Forrest.. Is he better than Shogun?

Different fights, different results.. Just because it took Chris Horodecki three rounds to beat Bart in both fights doesn't mean he'll lose to Deividas.

GSP beat Hughes, and Serra beat GSP, so why did people think that Hughes could beat Serra, if he can't beat GSP? Sometimes MMAth doesn't work right. MMA is a weird sport, and therefore it's hard to predict some fights.

Horodecki could do better against Deividas than he does against Palaszewski.. Just because it looks like someone can win, doesn't mean that will happen. People counted out Couture against both Sylvia and Gonzaga.. I would pick Horodecki, just because i'd be following my heart. Sometimes what you feel in your heart, beats out all logic.. Peace and Rainbows, fools.

Unless he moves to 145 like Wagneey. Word on the inside was that IFL exec's didnt think Horodecki couldnt take the 3rd degree BJJ black belt, so they basically gave Fabiano his own division.
