After stepping in to replace Yuki Sasaki in the Strikeforce "Tournament Series" show and suffering a flying knee knockout loss in the first round to Jorge Santiago (who would go on to win the tournament), it was feared the former UFC veteran Sean Salmon had suffered a seizure in the ring.

Following the loss, Salmon was taken to the Valley Medical Trauma Center to undergo a number of tests, including a CT scan.

The tests came back negative and it was determined that Salmon had also not suffered any bleeding of the brain, nor a skull fracture.

Salmon's next fight is scheduled to be in the main event of the second ever HDNet Fights show, against top-ranked Jason "MayheM" Miller. That show is scheduled for December 15th at the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas.

There is no official word yet as to whether or not Salmon will still be able to compete on the card.

Surely he wont be fighting that soon though? Less than a month after a serious KO? nah better not happen!

Yeah, he is a real nice guy and I hate seeing him getting continuously knocked out in nasty fashion.

I think it's time he tries a new career path

I mean he is 14-5, and has impressive wrestling skills and a ton of heart and drive...he just has a tendency to get caught in highlight reel situations ......and guillitines

he got K(kneed)TFO, it looked really violent if any of you saw it almost looked like hed be ok at first. glad to hear he isnt dead like i thought he was, having seizures and whatnot, those are serious not funny at all, brain damage is the most likely thing to visit him next if it hasnt already

It looked like he kinda hit his neck. Kinda sick how out cold he has been knocked out twice now.

So like Josh Haynes being in brutal fights evrey time is Sean Salmon gonna get Brutally KO'd every time?
