For now he is signed between Strikeforce, HFC and one other company, so for now he will not be back.
But Dana did not rule out the possibility of him returning to the UFC under a new contract after a couple of wins. So he SHOULD be back soon if he decides he wants to.

He's an exciting fighter and a fan favorite. He def. messed up though, and has payed the price. I think Dana wants him back, but needs to let the late choke furvor die down. My take, if he keeps winning you'll see him back in the UFC once his contract is up. If he has a few losses in there (which I don't think will happen) then it will be a different story.

That could very well happen since he doesn't seem to lose outside the Octagon.

it will depend on his performance im sure. 205 is stacked but if he goes on a tear and looks as good as he did against heath (how good he looked got for the most part lost in the controversy) then im sure he will be back. if the incident occurred on the main card then it maybe would be different but the average fan doesn't even know it happened and dana will surely bring him back if he thinks it will make money for the ufc.
