NO IT'S NOT SETTLED!!!

He lost to somebody IMO is the next UFC LHW champ. Thiago is beast. He's a beast on the feet and a monster on the ground. He trains with Chutebox and they go all out so you know he has a great chin from getting toughened up there. Thiago is coming into his prime. He is the perfect mix of Wandy & Shogun.

He'd kill Machida, Jardine, and Chuck and Wandy(Doubt fight happens but he would). It's just he doesent have those quality wins yet. I hope he fights the winner of Machida/Soko and just destroys them so you guys can see how beastly he is.

As for the Houston Alexander. HE WAS TOP 10 and IMO IS STILL TOP 10. He'd freakin Kill Liddell. He'd kill Jardine a second time since those two are Stand up fighters. Wandy's chin is becoming weak from all them blows he takes. I think Houston could finsih him.

Ya'll need to get over the fact Liddell will never be champ again and needs to drop out your top 10. This guy runs through Jardine who many think deserves a title shot because he OBLITERATED Liddell. Houston is for real and it was just because he had a bad GAMEPLAN. This fight PROVED NOTHING. Except Thiago is the freakin future. Besides being his old going for the KO self Houston fell into the hype that he had no ground game and tried too hard to prove people wrong by taking it there or maybe he took it there because he knew he was going donw eventually. Who knows...

Houston is still Top 10 IMO and Liddell drops out. All 78 proved was Thiago belongs not only in the top 10 but real high. I see him running through the 205 division old school Wandy/Shogun style.

And you can quote me on that...

I like Silva but it's comments like this that cause me to cheer against guys. Why do you think he would kill any of those guys? Also what gives you any sort of notion that Wand's chin is becoming weak? It's not like he was one punch KO'd against Cro Cop or Hendo. Those were wars, sure Cro Cop ended it in round one but be realistic that was when nothing on earth was stopping him from winning the OWGP, and theres no way in hell Thiago hits as hard as Cro Cop, and as for Hendo, he's got dynamite in his hands and that was accumulated damage. Now I agree that Thiago is a great fighter, but you've clearly only seen his fight against houston, excluding maybe a few on youtube. He's impressive yes but he likes to stand and bang to much guys like Soko with big power could easily put him away, and houston could have put him away had they just stood and traded.

Dude you got it all wrong, I have the up most respect for Wandy. He's a beast. He's a legend. he will always be one of my favorite fighter just because every fight was a brawl for him. I don't have anything against him. All I'm saying is the tank abbot and Cabbage Coorera effect is coming onto him. Don't get me wrong, Wandy has a solid chin but I'm pretty sure as a huge pride fan you are you've seen the wars he's been in. People can only take so much damage. Look at Tank Abbot. He use to have not really a great chin but a good chin that he could take a lot of punches and still get the KO. But he's gotten older like Wandy is and those blows have accumilated and now Tank goes down more then he use to. Same thing with Cabbage. Cabbage HAD the all-time greatest chin in MMA around the UFC 40's. He was up there with Hunt and Fujita as far as great chins are concerned. He didn't get KO'd he just got stopped. But those punches have accumilated and now he goes downa nd actually gets KO'd in the 1st.

All I'm saying is he's been through a lot of wars and those blows are probably coming into a effect. Look at his picture from when he first started to how he looks now. His face is all swollen up. He will always have the heart of a champion and it will always take huge shots from power strikers like Cro Cop and Hendo on there A game t knock him out. I'm just saying maybe perhaps those huge blows are effecting him now as a older fighter. Kind of like the Arturo Gatti effect in boxing. He's the all time most exciting boxer in history who had 3 unbelievebale non stop action wars with Mickey Ward but towards the older stages of his career he was getting KO'd early. It's the boxing effect. All them blows to the head are becoming a toll. That's all I'm saying.

As for Thiago. He's a beast. Hippysmacker was right when he said I was all fired up when I was typing that. Yeah he's a great fighter but he still has alot to learn since he's definitely not perfect. I just think he's the brutal future and as guys like Chuck and Wandy get older and a young gun like himself comes in, I give him a strong chance of beating those guys. He's quick and explosive. He's a hard striker and I assume he has a great chin for some of the stand up battles he's been in plus the wars hes probbly had in sparring at Chutebox. His ground game speaks for it'sself. He's a BJJ black belt and he could hang wit any of the best ground fighters in MMA IMO. Time will tell though. Hopefully I'm right and he beats Soko, Machida or Chuck in a war and is just has the better fighter that night and wins so I don't have to put Chuck as my avatar.
