I would consider him a fast-rising star in the UFC, and most likely the future of the division, but not top ten yet. If he wins his next fight and gets up against a Top 10'er, and wins, then I'll move him into the Top 10.

He needs another convincing win to get there IMO. More than anything I really want to see what he has on the ground, or if he has good take down defense before I rank him higher than top 15.At least put him in their against a top 15 guy who prefers to grapple. like maybe Lambert.

i consider him top 10 already , well, like 10 or borderline to ten !!

Once I see him in round 2 and 3 in any fight, and once I see him beat a wrestler like Tito or Rashad then sure place him in the top 10, but I gotta know if my suspicions that he gasses quickly and that he has NO ground game except to avoid the ground game are correct. Oh, and did I mention he has a glass jaw. Rampage could take his uppercut, smile, then outbox him, outbrawl him, SLAM him to the ground, work on him there, SLAM him again for good measure, then polish that intriguingly shaped superdome of Houstons. Top 10, HA! HA! HA! Top 10 thats funny!

I agree with you except for the glass jaw, I haven't seen any evidence of it, and the ridiculous hyperbole.

Man, you are naming 3 guys who are already in the top ten, Rampage is 1st , Tito is 7th and Rashad is 9th, well, in my ranking anyways, so by putting Houston in 10th place it doesn't mean that he can beat those guys, it mean that he is behind us but not so far !!! The ranking should be about actual performance , not the NAME of the guys !!! i desagree with your #6-7 in your ranking, it is the 2007 ranking , not " the guy was good before so he will be good today " ranking !! LOL
Also, where were you at ufc 76 ??
Forrest beated Rua, so he should be rank above him not 6 spot below !! same thing for jardine !! LOL
come on veritas repeat after me " Houston is my heros " !! LOL

I think if he beats thiago and wins his next fight after that if its against a bigger name he will be top 10.

I think when Houston beats Thiago tonight, then he should be given a title fight. I would love to see Rampage vs Houston. And I guarantee Houston will get a 1st round KO tonight!! If i'm wrong you can pelt me with boiled eggs.

A title fight? Machida, Jardine, and Forrest are all ahead of him IMO.

Yeah but the UFC is about making money and giving the fans a match that is exciting! I think Rampage vs. Houston would be much more exciting than Machida, Jardine, or Forrest.

I think Forrest can sell ticket as much as Houston !!
i like both but Forrest is above Houston for a title shot for sure !!!

I would love to see a Houston/Rampage fight because i think it would be an awesome fight but unfortunately i dont think Houston deserves it quite yet. I think he is 3 wins away from there.
