UFC LIghtweight Clay Guida was scheduled to participating in an upcoming chat on the ProElite.com website, but it's now been cancelled because UFC has pulled Guida from the chat.

This actually makes good business sense to me.

What's the big deal. Why would the UFC mind ProElite using Guida's name recognition to promote ProElite? Oh, I think I just answered my question.

MMA is MMA, you rather not hear unbiased comments that is for the fans? Not like he is dishing dirt on the UFC, he was going to chat online with fans. Business is business but the UFC just takes it too far.

Wow thats really strange that he would even try to do that. They just had a confrence in Vegas about just that kind of thing like what radio show to go on and what shows not to go on why would he think that would be ok?

its one thing going on MMA radio talking to Sherdog or MMAweekly who have no affilation with any org.
But Proelite is the parent company that owns Eltite XC and Cage Rage isnt it? Makes sense to me.

OK, lets get one thing straight first. Anybody who is enough of a fan that they know who Clay Guida is, already watches UFC regularly. And anybody who surfs the MMA forums enough to have heard he was gonna be on the Pro-Elite forum for discussion, already knows what Pro-Elite is in the first place. I understand how it is the smart business decision, but sometimes you have to just be realistic about things.
