That would actually be a pounding. Look at who GSP has beat and then look at who Marcus Davis has beat. He is getting a lot better, but he is nowhere near the level that GSP is at yet.

No doubt it's GSP. Although I would love to see GSP and Fitch fight. That would be amazing. GSP is a former champ, and he has a recent impressive win over Josh Koscheck.

gsp would be a good start.
gsp doesnt deserve a title shot he needs at least another convincing win

gotta be gsp, fitch deserves the shot after that though, give him one more fight and if he wins no doubt its fitch vs. serra/hughes/gsp

I thought GSP would get his 2nd shot after he dominated Trigg and Sherk but then they put BJ Penn in frton of him. Maybe they will put Fitch in front of him to determine the No. 1 contender.

I thought it was already settled that Georges would get a crack at the belt after the Hughes/Serra fight... Don't have a link, but thought this was the general consensus...

Fitch deserves his shot as well, but GSP is def first... Don't know how anyone can say he doesn't deserve it after one fight... While Huges gets an immediate rematch after 1 fight against weaker competition (no offense meant to Lytle)...

Fitch should fight Karo (as long as he wins this weekend) for the next shot at the belt (after Georges)

im pretty sure theyll have gsp fight for the title ASAP after hughes and serra fight because either way they get a HUGE title fight

Hughes VS GSP 3 for a rubber match
or
Serra Vs GSP 2 for gsp to show us that serra got lucky

You actually brought up what i was gonna mention, everyone is assuming MH will have the belt. If Serra is still champ, GSP is nowhere near a title shot.

Karo and Fitch should fight for the next shot.

GSP definitely.

He has dominated the WW division for some time.
He came off an upset loss and then defeated a top contender in Josh Koscheck and beat him decisively at his own game.

He definitely deserves another shot at the title for his next fight.

Fitch is great, but I think he is still one fight away from a title shot (maybe 2).
I think the winner of the upcoming Parisyan fight may be a good next fight for Fitch.
I would like to see Marcus Davis fight the winner of the Thiago Alves fight as well.

Even if GSP has dominated the division for a while, he still just got knocked out by Serra. He needs to beat a couple of the top contenders for me to consider it.

I would like to see a Karo/Fitch fight to determine the title shot but if that wont happen i would give it to Fitch.
