Brad Imes decided to forgo the gogoplata in favor of a more traditional route to victory Saturday night in his Palace Fighting Championship debut.
Imes (10-3) routed previously unbeaten Chris Blair in the main event at PFC 5 “Beatdown in 4 Bears,” as he roared to a TKO victory 4:13 into round one at the 4 Bears Casino in New Town, N.D. The heavyweight runner-up on season two of “The Ultimate Fighter” reality series, Imes has reeled off five consecutive wins – all of them by stoppage, all of them inside one round. He had won his two previous bouts by gogoplata submission.

Imes and Salmon... The Race To The Bigs...
Guess they figure that if they can rattle off 10 quick wins, they might be looked at again. Both have good potential, Imes having the edge there I think.

Brad Imes isn't even worth talking about if he doesn't use the gogoplata.
Salmon, well he's a Buckeye, but I don't like him. And I like all Buckeyes (even Chris Carter). Well, maybe I don't like Maurice Cl@rett, but that's about it. Sean Salmon needs to get KO'd by Rashad Evans again. That would be nice.
What if he fights my boy Ross Pointon? Ross would shut him up for sure.

And, seriously man. Read the effing rules. You fighter bash non stop, and I seriously hope we see less of you because of it.

i'm ready to see Imes get another shot at the UFC. I think he could be a strong contender down the road.

I think Imes has earned another shot at the UFC. His fights were always exciting and he proved that he still can win in exciting fashion with the 2 Gogo's.

I think Imes and Samon both show potential to be back in the UFC, but thats only if Salmon Stays down at middleweight.....If he moves back up to lightheavy he doesnt stand a chance....
