Micheal Bisping recently sat down with Kevin Iole to look back on his behavior after winning one of the most controversial decisions in UFC history. He also sheds new insight into why he acted the way he did during the news conference. Here are some of the highlights of that conversation.

Bisping On Whether He Won The Fight Or Not:

"Even a very good friend of mine, that night, he came up to me and said, 'You know mate, to be honest, I think you lost that fight,' " Bisping said. "Of course I care what people think, especially because I'm not that kind of a guy," Bisping said. "If you read the Internet message boards after that fight, I think I was more hated than Saddam Hussein.

I like Bisping. I don't think that he beat Matt Hamill, but I do like him.

As funny or weird as this may sound, it's not his fault that he won that fight. I'm sure that he wanted to win, and thought that he won, but it's not his fault that the judges scored it incorrectly. He didn't go down to the scorers' table and influence them in any way.

I just hope that fans can realize this. I'm pretty sure that Bisping is going to get his first loss against Rashad Evans, but then again, this year has been so unpredictable that he might win. You never know.

it is not his fault but i think the hate for him came from his post fight interview in the cage when he was completely disrecpecting Hamill and after that, it is normal to give him the same medecine that he was doing to an opponent who have beated him 30-27 !!

i hope he will be completely destroy against Evans and that he will be force to retire !!

go Evans !!

Come on, that's rediculous. You can't hope that someone gets hurt. Bisping is a good fighter, and he won't get destroyed by Rashad, but he is going to lose.

I don't care what he said after the fight. There is a lot of emotion in the locker room. You've even seen guys cry after they lose (even after they win). I don't blame him for going off after the fight. And I don't think he lost 30-27. I think he lost 29-28, but it wasn't really that close.

look, don't say that it was right for him to totally disrespect hamill after he was on the good end of a bad decision. i know there is a lot of emotion in fighting, but to act like you walked through a fighter who, imo, beat you is not justifiable. i know you understnad that bisping didn't wlak through him, but imo you can't condone acting so full of yourself when you didn't even deserve to win.

I was sort of disgusted at how Bisping carried himself after that fight, but it's the emotions that got better of him. Nobody's perfect. It's not like Bisping is a president of some big organization and people around the world base their opinions about the organization on his behavior. In that case it would be expected from Bisping to be in control of his emotions at all times. Just like Dana White. Wait, what?..

On the other hand, I think that Bisping is a better and more well-rounded fighter than Matt Hammill, but he was outsized, and lacked aggression, and just screwed up in that fight. You could see the frustration in his face after it was over.

Some guys just can't turn it off as quickly as others you know, I just hope that if he does lose to Rashad that he decides to drop into the MW div where he could be much more competitive. If not Bisping will run into a few guys that will have his number for sure (Wandy, Hendo, Chuck, Houston...ect).

I agree. In my mind Bisping is a better fighter than Rashad but I have him losing this fight simply because Rashad will overpower him, like Hammill did.

In the very same paragraph that you continue the argument...nice bit of hypocrisy there, bud. Next time, don't argue jack shit and just keep it down to "let's put it to rest."

Hammil won the fight hands down it was a good fight i would like to see them fight again but i dont think hammil would have the same chance the second time around just for the fact that bisping now knows he can actually strike hammil had a good game plan coming in and showing he improved his boxing skills greatly and now that bisping knows that hammil wouldnt have the same advantage as he did in the first fight.
