I dont understand how people like to compare MMA to Boxing in any way. He keeps saying how its a bore once the fight goes to the ground but probrually the last 10 boxing matches I have seen, it has been: Dancing around the ring, throw to weak punches and then clinch for ten minutes until the referee breaks it up. You would get fined in some MMA event for pulling of sh*it like that! But in the end, hes just apart of another million reporters who will chose to easily bash MMA rather than see the good in it.

no shit, it's a totally different sport. these peopel want to compare it because the ufc is a lot more exciting and is killing boxing.

This is another one of those guys trying to get attention from the UFC crowd, and I guess hes putting his career as a writer in a downward spiral just like boxing. He makes no sense.

quote from his nonsense:
My biggest problem, though, is with school-age kids who see this stuff on TV, or see their dads watching it at home, and think it's something they can do in their backyards. They don't know what they're doing, don't understand the dangers. And some of them are getting hurt, pretending to be the UFC stars of tomorrow.

When i was in high school, all the teenagers boxed in their backyards, knocking each other out. whats the difference with MMA? Kids used to box frequently where I lived right in their front yards and no one complained about it. Get over it ray mcnubby.
