I just watched that fat piece of ¤!"#¤"# "Coronel" Bob Sheridan on Bodog the other night and it inspired me to do this thread. I can't imagine a worse commentator than him and he really knows NOTHING about MMA, OR any other physical activity for that matter.
I can't understand why you guys whine about Mike Goldberg so much when you have guys like Bill Goldberg and this.... guy to compare him to.

I don't think I have heard much of this "Coronel" Bob Sheridan guy so maybe I shouldn't have voted, but I hate Mauro Ranallo with a violent passion. I am sure I have heard this Coronel dude, but I haven't made note of may hate for him.

I voted Bill Goldberg....i liked him as a wrestler and athlete, but I don't like his commentating. It's not that he has a lack of knowledge he just says stupid, out of line, and racist or sexist jokes.....and he doesn't even come close to the knowledge Rogan has

This is an example of Sheridan commentating
The action:
Two guys trade incredibly sloppy strikes for about 2 secs, fighter X gets a half-assed trip takedown and ends up in side-mount and moves to mount effortlessly since the other guy isn't defending shit.. X throws some rabbit punches to the body, nothing special. Fighter Y reverses but gets caught in a lose lose triangle that he gets out of.
Both slug a little and are gassed as hell.
This is "Coronel" Bob Sheridan commentating:
OH THESE GUYS ARE GOING AT IT! OH, LOOK AT THAT TRIP SLAM TAKEDOWN!
THIS IS SOME GOOD STUFF!
Fighter X gets some kind side-stuff on fighter Y AND LOOK AT THIS. He goes to that north-side kind of eh.... mount position AND UNLEASHES A FURY OF PUNCHES TO THE BODY OF FIGHTER Y. Look at the technique behind that!
NOW FIGHTER Y IS ON TOP! WOW!....but what is this!??! *Paul comes in saying "Fighter Y gets caught in a triangle attempt"*
BUT WOW HE AMAZINGLY GETS OUT OF THE HOLD!
NOW THEY GO TOE-TO-TOE. LOOK AT THAT BOXING!! *Paul comes in again "They're really gassed here"*
*Bob totally ignores it and continues..:* This is good stuff, this is terrific Mixed Martial Arts we're seeing here......
Just freakin fire the guy already.....

i actually like mike goldberg and rogan, even though i think i could personally do better myself, they don't bother me to to much. at least joe actually does mma. bill goldberg acts like he knows what he is talking about and it drives me frickin crazy when he is obviously wrong. what pisses me off more is when the guys sitting next to him are hugging his nuts and agreeing with every wrong thing he says as if he is a mma guru. i voted goldberg, bill goldberg, what a poser he is.

I also don't like that old bag he works with .. can't think of his name but damn is he annoying..

Colonel Bob is the commentator for BODOG, and he is so bad that he wraps back around to become utterly awesome.

Got to go with the Colnel... he just makes it that much harder to watch BoDog... While Goldberg (Bill) comes in a close second... If only they had let that guy that played AC Slater do the commentary on EXC... Then I believe this would be an open and shut case
