i know in the last year he lost to joey villasenor in elite xc, and i believe he won his last fight against a no name. the guy is very explosive but cant put it all of his talent together, the mike swick fight is a perfect example of that, there is no way he should have lost that fight, but he didnt fight he stood there so he got beat.

i think he is trying to get back into the ufc, too. if he could put it all together he would be sick. in the swick fight he was just too tentative and it cost him.

Last I heard he was winning in EliteXC but got KTFO in Bodog, but thats just what I heard..
But My guess is like everybody else, he's trying to win like 4-5 straight and get back in with the big boys...

my bad, I checked Sherdog, he's had two fights since Swick beat him. Loss in EliteXC and won at Art Of War...He should face Jeremy Horn because if he beats him thats a known name he can tell Joe silva he beat in maybe influencing him...I personally would love to see him at WW fighting Marcus Davis or somebody with great strikes as well...

David was supposed to fight on July 7 2007 in an event called Steelcage, but he had to withdrawal due to injury.
I'm not sure what's up with him. He has removed all blogs on myspace and his official site hasn't been updated in months (though the latter is not all that unusual for official sites)

Just seems like since the Rich fight he's never been the same... I didn't see his Art of War fight, but Villasenior absolutely man handled him...
I know everyone's been saying it lately, but David really needs to get back into the game mentally, IMO it's fairly evident that he has the natural skill... Just needs to put it all back together...

I am a proud student of David Loiseau's gym in Montreal at Tristar Vale Tudo and we have actually only seen him about twice in the past month. Everyone is usually present at the gym when he's there looking to suck up the most info and get as much training done as possible. Now one thing I know is that he hasent been sparring with us due to his thumb (dont know if anyone recalls this injury) still bothering him. He is co-owner of 4 different restaurants in the Montreal area so I would think it would be the reason we havent seen the guy for a while. Still im pretty sure he'll be getting back in action soon enough but his intentions seem to be going towards EliteXC for now, there's been no talk or showing interest in the UFC as of yet.
