A full six months have passed since former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski defeated Fabricio Werdum at UFC 70. Arlovski hasn’t fought since then, and he’s not scheduled to fight again anytime soon.

So what’s the deal?
Sounds like Arlovski cant get his last fight over with till he resigns. Sounds like the Vera situation.

Arlovski needs to hurry up and fix his current contract problems before he slips into obscurity. He hasn't had an exciting fight for a few years and dropped two fights to the most boring fighter in the universe. If he doesn't come back soon and have an exciting fight he will end up fighting Kimbo, Tank, Kimo, or Ben Rothwell on a small show somewhere.

its all to do with his contact. the UFC wont "fight him" until he signs. I dont like this ploy by Dana to keep Arlovski. I really dont see him leaving even if he losses his next fight in the UFC.

this just sounds like another bullshit ufc scandle to me. Watch, couple weeks from now we'll get a press conference from arlovski stating he's resigning from the ufc. can we say fedor/arlovski M1 Global? I sure as hell hope so. that opens up a lot of good heavy weight fight options. AA - Barnett
- Monson
- Aleks
- Yvel
- Fedor

Think of the possibilities!!

i've been dying to see AA vs HH..

if this is the case, then its a bit of a slimy move for the ufc, but at the same time.. why not sign? As an athlete of that calibre, i know i'd be dying to get back in there and mix it up.

How 'bout AA vs Brandon Vera for Andrei's last fight in the UFC??? Then after that he could maybe sign w/ M1 ...

Arlovski vs. Vera would be a sick fight IMO

That's the best pick I think...either that or Kongo....but doesn't he have a fight coming up?
