After nearly a year away from the Octagon, UFC Middleweight Dean "The Boogeyman" Lister today confirmed that he will return to fighting at UFC 79 in December. His opponent will be Jordan Radev.

Article

Looking at some of the big names he's been helping train recently (namely Couture & CC), he should have no trouble getting re-acclimated to fighting after a long time away.

Hmm, to me Dean reminds me of Gurgel. They both have a lot of hype around them, but still waiting to see them reach they're maximum potential, seems everytime they fight, they lack the instinct to go in there and enforce they're gameplan. Lister's one of my favorite fighters, but I'm just waiting for him to step it up to the next level.

Lister makes it hard to be a fan....no offense but his credentials far exceed his actions in the cage. I sure hope he comes out with that killer instict and taps this fool out quickly!! BTW what did happen to Nate??

I'm a big fan of Dean's but there's a big difference between being a world-level grappler, and a world-level MMA fighter.

BTW look up his grappling match against Tony Souza, it's awesome
