The reason Joachim isn't in the UFC, to be blunt, is because he refused to give in to the Fertitia brothers bullsh*t mafioso tactics and be strong armed into risking his well being for peanuts and be insulted and treated like crap during the process. I agree very strongly with Stickan, Joachim is a very marketable and exciting fighter, American fans would eat his persona and fighting style up. Oh well, there is always hope something will change with how the owners and operators of Zuffa choose to do business, or that another company will make significant enough inroads in America to compete with them and make him an offer. Time will tell.
