I think they'll probably give him either Hendo or Okami.

I rather see Hendo vs Silva, cus I think it'll be a WAR. Hendo's never been KO'd, could Silva be the first to do it?? he can but WILL HE?

I think Silva would walk through Okami, but if Hendo doesn't want to fight at 185, I don't see any other viable choice.

i would say Okami as well. The UFC needs some Middleweight depth. Maybe they should've pursued some MW contenders instead of Lesnar. Like Denis Kang.

The UFC needs some new talent there because the list of contenders is getting skimpy. I mean the Spider has ripped through Leben, Lutter, Franklin x2 and Marquardt all with relative ease and collectively those guys have beat almost everyone in the division.

I say bring in Filho or Lawler.

I wanna see Silva fight one of the K-1 guys. Rogan brought up a good point last night saying that he could match up with anyone of those K-1 guys in a kickboxing match. His muay thai skills are that good huh? I would pay a lot of $$ to see Anderson Silva vs. Buakaw Por Pramuk.

I think size alone would make him kill Pramuk. I'm not discrediting Pramuk in any way, I just think Andersons size would be too much for him.

About future contenders I think Kampmann if he wins one more fight could be put against Silva. He'd be the first nordic title challenger even though he'd get destroyed.
Silva is a tough one for anyone. I have no idea who would beat him. He's climbing the p4p list too in my book.

The only person as of right now that makes sense if Okami.

But if you get more middleweights fighting on cards and prove themselves then you'll have more guys.

Grove,Cote,Martin,Kampmann,Leites,Macdonald,Marquardt,Mcfedries,Quarry.

Dont see Hendo dropping because not as good competition as 205 for him.

If Chonan beats Karo he should move up to MW and rematch Silva to give Anderson a chance to avenge one of his few losses. I doubt he'll ever face Takase or Azeredo again.

What if a guy like Mike Bisping drops down? I'd love to see Silva face Mike Bisping. That would be a good fight. I think that this should have happened before they made the Evans/Bisping fight.

Also, what if Griffin dropped down? I know there hasn't been much talk about this, but Forrest routinely weighs in at something like 202 or 203. That means he doesn't have to cut much for 205, and cutting 20 to make 185 seems realistic. Just an idea.

Okami doesn't seem like a bad idea, but he got beat by Franklin, and Anderson beat Franklin twice. That seems to be a huge mismatch.

Martin Kampmann was originally supposed to fight Franklin before Okami steppped in, so he's an option.

And, of course, Dan Henderson. I've said a thousand times that he should drop to 185. He still holds the Pride title there, and that would be another belt that is unified. Dana could say that Hondo has to drop the title of Pride 185 champ if he refuses to fight at 85. So, here are the top options:

1-Henderson
2-Bisping
3-Okami
4-Forrest
5-Bring in someone like Lindland, Kang, Filho, Trigg to fight Anderson.
6-Use the IFL as a minor league, and give the winner of the IFL GP at 185 a UFC contract and a shot at Silva. This would be Matt Horowich, Benji Radach, Brian Foster, or Brent Beauparlant

Everyone was talking like Okami would be next if he won last night, which he did, but I also just read an item that said last night might have been the last fight on Okami's current contract, so that could be a while off. In that case, might as well throw Hendo back in there and unify the MW belts.

Okami, I guess. It's a pretty thin div. Anderson should take some time off to heal. (and work on his English)

He came into both the Lutter and Marquardt fights with injuries and hinted he was injured before this fight on Sherdog.

when randy was training for gonzaga, he said forest weighed like 240, so there is no way he is making 185. He wasn't training to cut down but i still don't see it possible.

Well considering Buakaw is fighting at 154lbs. Skill wize, no his Muay Tai isn't as good as Buakaw's.
