First off my thoughts. Umm pretty sure this isnt a very big fight, both coming bad preformances rashad with a draw and bisping split decision. I really think these guys are undersized heavyweights. Not the main event I was looking for but I think evans will win this with his wrestling by decision. Then rampage will destory him or Bisping BUT! remember rampage and bisping are friends are they going to fight? if he wins? I guess so.

“Dana White, the UFC President, says that the winner [of the fight between Michael Bisping and Rashad Evans] will gain an automatic world light-heavweight title shot.”

– Telegraph — the “number one quality newspaper Web site” in Britain — reports that the winner of the UFC 78: “Validation” main event between Michael Bisping and Rashad Evans on November 17 will next challenge UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Rampage Jackson for his 205-pound title. UFC 78 will take place at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. For the most recent fight card click here.

Well I can see Rashad beating Bisping but I wouldn't give either of them much of a chance at Rampage at the moment. If Bisping DOES somehow pull out the W against Evans, then I fear for his health if Rampage is next up!

Dude this is Bullshit...Why is Dana White Killing the UFC? Both these men should have loss there last fight so why are they even close to getting a title shot? Forrest or Jardine should be getting the title shot. Rampage will run through both these men...wtf..

True, if I was either Forrest Griffin or Keith Jardine, I'd be pissed at the opportunity these guys are getting. Personal opinions out of the way though, and Rashad is coming from a draw and Bisping won his last fight.

Jardine and Rashad should put aside their friendship and fight. Hendo and Rampage did it. That's why Rashad/Tito and Jardine/Houston happened in the first place.

There is no easy answer though with the LHW picture but since Rampage is taking some time off to properly heal his hand, they should not be promising the next title shot yet. Machida needs to step up in competition also.

Yeah I'd rather see Forrest or Jardine fight Rampage, I think they'd have a better chance.

This is a false quote, there is no way Dana White said that, he would be an absolute stupid ass if by some dumb chance Bisping won and fought Rampage. There are a lot of fighters who deserve a shot at Rampage before Bisping...

I don't like the matchups in November, it should of been Bisping vs Thiago and Alexander vs Evans....Thiago would of kicked Bispings ass now Evans will have to just hand it to him. Bisping is a HUGE underdog in this fight...I say this because if Matt Hamill can pick you apart on your feet just think what a Boxer will do to ya.....

Rampage vs. Bisping or Rampage vs. Evans looks like murder to me... but who the F am I?

This quote is a pile of crap. Nowhere on the Telegraph website can I find this quote only an interview with Bisping before UFC 70. Also, the Telegraph have quite publically said that they think MMA should be banned.

If this quote came from anywhere, it came from Ant the UFC UK PR guy and NOT Dana.

Plus, Bisping has stated more than once he's not intrested in fighting for the title yet as he's still learning.

Utter utter crap.

They aren't HW's, they are LHW's. Bisbing is undersized, but Evans dropped down from HW after winning TUF. I don't think Evans is undersized unless he pulled a Ken-Flo and fought 2 or 3 weight classes above his true weight class.

At least it gives meaning to this fight taking place, but I dont think either of these fighters deserve to fight for the title.

I agree, the media is usually full of Sh!t.......they just want to sell that paper and they know that this would do it. Neither has a chance nor deserves one against Rampage for at least 3 more fights....the LHW div is just way too stacked!

i dont really like none of them, i dont think they are top fighters in their division..all i know is that bisping shouldnt have won that fight, and same with evans....i think Lil Nog could do great in the ufc, i dont know why he is not signed, after all they signed his bro too...but im defenately not happy with this, i rather see silva fight page for a third time and that would give some time to sort who truly are the top contenders....
