The field of 18 fighters for UFC 77: “Hostile Territory” are all about to weigh-in at 4 p.m. ET for the pay-per-view (PPV) event tomorrow night from the U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Here are the official results:
185 lbs.: Anderson Silva (184.5) vs. Rich Franklin (184) Hvywt.: Tim Sylvia (260.5) vs. Brandon Vera (225.5) 205 lbs.: Stephan Bonnar (204) vs. Eric Schafer (203) 185 lbs.: Kalib Starnes (186) vs. Alan Belcher (186) 155 lbs.: Jorge Gurgel (155) vs. Alvin Robinson (155.5) 185 lbs.: Jason MacDonald (184.5) vs. Yushin Okami (186) 185 lbs.: Ryan Jensen (185.5) vs. Demian Maia (185) 170 lbs.: Josh Burkman (171.5) vs. Forrest Petz (170) 155 lbs.: Jason Black (156) vs. Matt Grice (155)
Update: Josh Burkman failed to make weight, coming in at 171.5 pounds. He has one hour to lose a half-pound (fighters get a one-pound allowance in non-title fights).

Why did Rich overcut so much? maybe he isnt as big as he used to be?

His picture on UFC.com looks like his face is really slim... then again he has a beard. He may very well have actually "lost" weight rather than just cutting.

im sure he will be able to make weight but ya never know that last pound can always be the hardest to cut
if he is already drained petz might be able to shake out a decision, but im not gonna change my bet
