Trigg will give him hell on the feet just like he did Robbie but will Gas and Paulo Fhilo will either KO him then or dominate him on the ground before that and Rear naked choke him out...
This is an easy 1st or 2nd round Rear naked choke sub for Fhilo. Good match and probably the best competition Fhilo will get for a while. Looking forward to it but Fhilo will beat him...

If this actually happens I also think Filho will overpower and sub him in the first.

First of all, it's debatable that Trigg is a top 10 MW. I don't have him in my top 10, and he's barely in my top 15 (yeah, I'm a Trigg-hater).
I think that Filho will kill Trigg. He is definitely the most underrated MW in MMA, and is possibly the most underrated figher in all of MMA. Filho is a beast. The only three guys at 185 I probbably wouldn't pick him over are Silva, Franklin, and Hondo.

Thats gonna be tough for both guys. I think Fihlo will win by a sub in the second round by Trigg could catch him with a shot that drops him since Trigg remains one of the stronger Middleweights out there.
Do you think Trigg will hang up the gloves if he loses this fight though? Trigg is still ok, but at this point in his career I dont see him having the drive to work through a division to get to a title. If he is offered title fights he may take them, but thats all I can see him wanting to fight.

Filho by submission. He's too good on the ground. He's jj skills are great. Since when did Trigg sign with the WEC? This will be an entertaining fight. There's so many good fights coming up in various org's. I just wish that there wasn't always that argument: such and such is the real #1 whatever-weight, not fighter B from the UFC, or whatever. I wish there was always an Undisputed champion of each weight class. All the belt holders, that are legetimate, should be able to fight eachother. The org's need to deal with eachother and say, I'll let this title holder fight your's on your fightcard, and you let me take one of your titleholders, and he can fight the titleholder of the same weight class in my org, on my fight card. However, this will NEVER happen. Oh well. So much for the UFC being the NFL of MMA. Not being able to sign Fedor is the reason they'll never have all of the best fighters. I feel that they should have the top 4 to 5 fighters from each weight class (not counting the FW, BW, and flyweight and women's weight classes, and super-heavy) to be the undisputed top-tier org. I mean they already are the org that holds the most talent. I don't know, I'm just rambling. I guess I'm just pissed that I won't see the fights that I've been longing to see for a long time.

I think you sounds pretty smart. I know Trigg has gained a lot of muscle but i still believe that Filho is the bigger stronger guy. Not to mention its clear tha Paulo has a much better ground game, i mean who can reall argue that. And Filho did end his last fight on the feet so he has some good stand up. I think Trigg is outclassed is all areas. Not to disrespect Frank but Paulo Filho is a beast right now.
