This guys has became one of my favorite fighters, not becuase of his skills in

the cage, although i do think hes very underrated. The man is a very nice,

respectable family guy. If you haven't read his articles on MMAJUNKIE.com i

suggest it.

He also talks about a potential match up in NOV vs Cung Le

They are in two different weight classes, so what weight would they be fighting at? And if Rashad can knock Salmon out Cung Le would have no problem.

Salmon is a lot better since then, that was kinda of a freak KO also...as was the head kick that Herring gave to NOG(not a KO though). 185 would be my guess on the weight class.

Cung Le does seem like he is too small to jump up a class. Does this mean that Salmon has signed with EliteXC?

i think sean salmon will get destroyed. i was not impressed with any of his performances. i was impressed with his karate kick in the rashad fight but that is all. i dont know how much he has trained or got better from his like 30sec lost to alan belcher. but he seems like a straight wrestler who has not converted to mma. hence the way he left his neck open for the choke against belcher.

I agree he was kinda winning that fight IMO.

Salmon is a very classy guy. I have grown to like him a lot more over the last year or so. He is from here in Columbus and a lot of people around town know him quite well and I only hear good stuff from them about Sean.

They just had a fight fest event here a couple weeks ago and Sean was there and was real casual with the fans there. I have even seen him post on another forum and he justs loves the fight game and loves to meet his fans.

He has a fight coming up on the 19th in Canada so we will see how that goes I guess....

On a side note, I am leaving this Sunday to head to Milwaukee and train with Red, Duke Rufus, and the rest of their guys. Red, obviously has UFC 77, Duke has Cage Fury, and I will be fighting in Canada on the 19th. Should make for a good training camp, although short.

He looked like he was carrying a little access weight when he was fighting at 205, so I could easily see him dropping down to MW...

A fight with Cung would be interesting... Salmon looked pretty good in the first round of the Evans fight, and if he go Le to the ground, well I guess I've never really seen Cung Le on his back, so I don't know... I don't think it's a good idea for most fighters to stand with Le, though...
