An offer to resurrect the heavyweight spectacle between celebrated street brawlers David "Tank" Abbott and Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson (Pictures) is expected to be presented Wednesday morning to both parties on behalf of the Palace Fighting Championship, Sherdog.com learned Tuesday.

"I have spoken to both sides' management," said PFC's Christian Printup via e-mail. "I am submitting a formal offer (Wednesday) morning. If it satisfies their financial needs the fight will happen on Oct. 18 in the PFC. If it doesn't, I can take comfort in knowing we made a very substantial offer nonetheless."

Two big dudes knocking the piss out of each other for about a minute? Whats not to like about that?

I hope it happens, I am absolutely craving a knockout!!
(Since there wasnt even a knockout win at UFC 76: Knockout!!)

I can forget about the lack of skill/cardio/technique, so long as these two come out throwing bombs.

Plus ive been watching Tank Abbott fight since early UFC, I want to see if he has anything left in the Tank. (No pun intended)

Is it fair enough to give each fighter a punchers chance in this fight? lol

I hope it happens and don't feel bad about it. I hope Kimbo keeps improving and shows it here. I'd like to see him become an accomplished (on w/e level) in this sport. Shows street fighters that there is real hope but only w/ real training.

Ya I agree, its a freakshow fight that is hard not to get into. You know it's going to be full of action... Can Kimbo outlast Tanks 2 minute burst? Does Kimbo have real knockout power? (If you watch most of his "street" fights they end in verbal submission not KO's) Can he submit an (experinced?? Well kinda..its not like Tank ever had any more than one game plan for any of his fights) MMA fighter?

Sure hope it happens!
