never heard of a gym ranking fighters by levels

yeah they wanted to get away from the belt system, for what ever reason Im not sure. I guess you do actually get belts incase you compete and need one, but there is more strees in my gym on what test you have passed.

Hmm I heard of levels in boxing gyms.. 1 begininer 2 basic, 3 intermediate, 4 ready to compete.. I think that is more for class break downs and a quick reference for coaches to know what skills the person still needs to train.. I do not think it is an offical ranking system..
