When you’re a champion in mixed martial arts, there is no off-season, no time to take a few weeks off for vacation or to bask in the glory of being the best at what you do. So when you ask UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva about the training camp for his highly-anticipated rematch with Rich Franklin at UFC 77 on October 20th, and when it began, he just smiles.

silva wont be beat for a long time, i personally dont think there is anybody at MW besides franklin who can really give him a run for his money. hopefully MW gets a little more stacked, but for now, silva will continue to dominate the UFC...at least until henderson decides to drop down to MW like he should

i 100% respect your opinion, but i have to disagree. rich franklin, although not completely 100%, was way more than 25, id say he was 80. imo silva is going to win by knockout late or by descision for this will be a good fight...but silva will win

I have to agree, i'm pretty sure you were exaggerating by saying 25% tho. This sport is so heavily competitive that a 10, or in some cases, a 5% is noticable. I do however, expect a different franklin in this fight, and for the fight to go into championship rounds if not a decision

You could see it tin his eyes when he stepped into view that something was wrong. The only other competition for him right now is Yushin Okami, who has a win over Anderson but not a decisive win. I didn't see the fight as it was a ROTR fight, but if someone has can I get a brief description on how that fight went. I heard Hendo has no desire to drop in weight either, so it looks like the MW Division is still going to be a lame duck for now.

i agree with you here. its unfortunate really that the MW division is a little lackluster, but i tell if hendo decides do drop down, maybe the MW division would get interesting. i know he said he wouldn't, but just imagine how great it would be for the sport. he would make the division interesting and then there would be 3 great fighters at the top instead of the same two. so i beg you dan henderson, drop to MW and give anderson silva a challenge...plz...for me

okami has a cheap win over silva. thats not really a true win silva lost that fight because of himself and not fully knowing the rules.

i think you are going to lose all your money. silva is going to win. even in the interviews franklin looks a little scared about this fight. and dana white looks scared to because he does not know about rich's future if he loses. rich is going to lose.
