According to this report below, it seems that Mirko Cro Cop isn't talking and there are rumblings he might be about done in UFC.

Article

Let the "biggest bust to date in UFC" bantering begin.

I say let him get whatever surgery he needs, then let him train properly. What i've always suspected about him is that he could be so much better if part of a real camp. Imagine him at extreme couture.

He had the opportunity to learn BJJ from dean lister and had some of the best kick boxers in the world helping him prepare, if that isn't enough to win against Kongo other than titanium ribs and brass balls I don't know what is.

yha i heard about that.. he really is an enigma right now, but my theory is that anybody who trains under couture will be far better prepared for a fight than they would be otherwise

i think he should direct his attention toward building a team... and helping guys train/coaching/making his own gym.. or going to legends gym or extreme courtur

As Fedor said "he left his heart and soul in the pride ring". He doesn't want it anymore. He lost to an inferior kickboxer in a kickboxing match, not even you nubby can say kongo's better then an former elite K-1 kickboxer

He was that night. But you are right, had they met at the peek of CC's career in K-1 I'm sure Kongo would have lost his head.

Yet another bit of ammo for the "Pride Fighters Can't Cut It" bandwagon. I agree, the ones that Dana White has brought over haven't fared well (except for Rampage of course). But there are still two huge names not here yet . . . everyone knows about Fedor and is just waiting for him to come take the title from Randy. But wait, where is Takanori Gomi? I think he would have a great shot at the LW title. But of course Dana is protecting that for his Golden Boy Sean "Steroid" Sherk or BJ Penn.

So all those who are downing the Pride fighters, realize that the ones that have come over so far are nearing the end of their careers. And you can't put Henderson on the crossover failure list yet since he came and fought Rampage right away.

I really don't think Cro Cop has been 50% of himself in the UFC. Shogun had his injury which did effect his performance, not taking anything from forrest but it did. I personally think Nog did very well against herring until he ducked into a kick, still recoverd, and won. I really don't see why there's still an argument. I think there are great fighters from both orgs. I don't think Cro Cop likes anything about the UFC, in fact I know he doesn't. He's a quiet, private, kickboxing specialist, who is going into a different phase in his life. People forget that he's a Croatian Senetor, and is planning on returning to ATJ Luko in november.

seems like nobody has their facts right before they tear into a fighter or part of the ufc management..
Gomi is on record saying that he has no intentions of leaving japan. If gomi were available to the ufc, i'm pretty sure dana would sign him

I didn't know Fabricio Werdum, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, Shogun, Nakamura and Cro-Cop were at the end of their careers. Cro-cop obviously is now, but I don't think you were saying that before he lost to Gonzaga. Dana wants the best fighters in the UFC. He's not protecting anyone. He wanted Cro-cop to be a beast. He wanted Shogun to be the next face of the UFC. Nogueira still may be the Heavyweight champ at some point soon. Gomi sure is one exciting and talented fighter but he has weaknesses. I personally think Sherk would be too strong for him, so I don't think Dana is trying to keep Gomi out of the UFC. And OF COURSE he is trying to get Fedor!

It sounds better when you can play the UFC
