Last night we had a grappling "tournament" where I do BJJ. There was a judge(instructor) and then you had someone corner you, it was just for fun, but we were supposed to go 100% like in a competition. It was no-gi and I dominated my first match winning 10-0. I took his back, mounted him, had a close armbar, and after the match I wasn't very tired at all. My next match was against a guy I've never seen before and I figured hey it's his first time, etc. We started going and withing 15 seconds BAM! Taken down like nothing and then he passed to half guard and I got back into guard and went for a kimura that was pretty close. Later on he tried to hip bump me to pass my guard but I just grabbed his ankles and he fell back(counted for a sweep). We scrambled and I got back to my feet. I then get taken down AGAIN! I'm sitting there thinking there's no way this is his first time grappling!
I lost 6-3 and I was like WTF! I didn't see that coming at all. I was pretty hard on myself even though it was for fun. Then the guy comes over and explains that he's a collegiate wrestler! Then all of a sudden I don't feel so bad about loosing since all he did was take me down.

uhhh I get dominated all the time, but I'm always out weighed so...yeah. I've only gone with 2-3 people my weight in 3 months of training. (125lbs)

Yeah bro, don't worry about it. If you're not getting dominated, you're not training with the right people. Conversely, if the dude is still dominating you two or three months from now, I'd start to worry.

No it's cool, it's just the first time I haven't had an answer to something. He just had a great base and good posture so trianlges were really hard. He didn't completely dominate me it was 6-3.

its good to lose because it makes you think what you are doing wrong if you win all the time and have a lot of wholes in your game you will never fix them, better to lose in the gym then the cage

Yeah I tried to but that guy was fricken hard as hell to hold on to. It was a lot of movement and I went for rubber atleast 3 times but then he postured up and I think he knew what I was trying to do.

I know how you feel. My BJJ club is on my university campus. and there are a few varsity wrestlers who do it. Man its kinda hard to not get taken down. Sucks freerolling with em. At least you learn to work off you back the hard way.
