The Ultimate Fighting Championship's light heavyweight division had a change of plans Wednesday, when frustration at Tito Ortiz not signing for a proposed match with Rashad Evans on Nov. 17 in Newark, N.J., led to the announcement of Michael Bisping as Evans' new opponent.

"To me the records were just a starting point," recalls John Paul Jones, "The most important thing was always the stage show. So many great nights. At our worst we were still better than most. At our best we could just wipe the floor with the lot of them. It was just a very good live band."

Anyways, Bisping vs. Evans should be a good bout. I think I'm gonna have to go with Evans on this one, Bisping looked very very shaky in his last fight, but regardless of that, I'd still go with Evans.

Evans UD.

Is bisping enough of a name for any main event? No.
Not only did bisping perform poorly in his last fight, and barely won a controversial split decision, he was classless in his victory. Some fighters can win a lot, some fighters are exciting to watch, some fighters have a great attitude and class.. those who have all 3 are usually main event material.. those who have none dont fight for the ufc. Neither of these fighters are main event material and neither is worth their undefeated record. Honestly, the only way I would want to see this fight is if it headlined a fightnight card.
